Day 65 in Alder Cove

We start with Isabel as usual, however it seems a little early to be drinking...

Erik still hasn't figured how letters work

Lopez attempted to leave, no deer is allowed to, so he's starting

Beau came for a snack party, he brought pears, I was more hoping for party rings

And finally, it's a short day, but I am tempted to change up my terraforming on my island. I'll have to think about it

Day 64 in Alder Cove

It's been a quiet day today. It was my turn to be ill, but no villagers turned up with medication.

Flick turned up today, I've commissioned a snail

I was going to commission an orchid mantis but I accidentally gave one to Zell instead of the fossil right next to it, in my inventory

Erik again won, against the odds in high card low card. Beginning to think he rigs these

Beau spent a large portion of the day watching Bruce sing. It's nice to see them both coming out of their shells

And finally, my friend is home from holiday tomorrow, I've lost count of the number of gyroids I've sent to him while he's been gone

Day 63 in Alder Cove

We started today with a 'postcard' from Erik

I think we need to teach him what a postcard is but it's the thought that counts.

I spent ages looking for my final fossil spot, look at how mean that spawn was.

Huh, that's a new Kapp'n island

It was raining again, and I noticed Shino was using a paper parasols, so I gave her a more waterproof umbrella

I then saw Erik using a snowflake umbrella, can't have that in march, a leaf suits much better

Yay! Got Bruce's photo today only three more to go!

And finally, a lot of today was spent searching for snails, they are surprisingly difficult to find even with the hours of rain I've had.

And then Erik tried to take one from me

Day 62 in Alder Cove

A quieter day today.

I started exploring the museum a bit more with my camera,

Put my villagers photos on the wall for now, but I will have to find them a proper place

I was also very lucky and got all bell rocks on my Kapp'n island

And Kapp'ns song was very true today, I never sleep properly when my family are away from home

And finally, I found a group of the villagers watching the night sky together, though Bruce was trying to steal Diana's seat

Day 61 in Alder Cove

It's somehow still raining. Guess it's definitely spring

We started with our trademark deer drama

But as usual, courier Alex to the rescue, apparently a folding floor light fixes everything.

I got Lopez's photo today! Gonna need to start planning on where I'm placing them

I designed an outfit for when I'm doing construction, including a tool belt bag.

And Flick was on the island today. He has an order for the first honeybee statue

However... Tell me where your friends are... I need them

And finally, I spent some time just wandering the museum with my camera. It was nice and I'll have to go back during the day to catch some other insects.

Day 60 in Alder Cove

Another rainy day today, but we started with an announcement from Isabel

... I guess I better go and find him

He took a long time to wake today

If you weren't covered in spines I'd hug you

Shino, you have no idea how long I spent fishing today

Seriously three fishing rods and I finally caught the char and golden trout I was missing...I caught everything including a string fish before I finally caught the char

I also took the opportunity to grab the Nautilus I missed the other night. Which means I've caught all my evening spawns for March!

And finally, I caught my favourite couple hanging out together, they are so cute

Day 59 in Alder Cove

Label was here today, so this is my outdoorsy outfit for her

Which I then changed back into an every day outfit

Erik had a nap standing up, can't say I blame him

It was raining a lot today so I used it to catch a lot of the new fish

Zell is working on bettering himself, it was really sweet

I was a courier for Diana today, just because. But Deirdre tipped me.

Bruce and Wilbur were having coffee together, two blue grumpy boys

I also managed to get my final stalk market stamp, most of those bells have been spent on my house.

And finally dressed up and went to a friend's island for star watching, it was a loving time.

And when it wasn't raining I didn't agree trying to catch as many bees as possible as I want statues of them

Day 58 in Alder Cove

It's festivale!

Everyone is dressed up!

Including me

I had lots of fun dancing and throwing confetti with everyone

Though the feathers were surprisingly hard to catch

Pavé seems to have a slight addiction problem, hopefully tomorrow they can see a doctor.

But he does put on a good show

I also went to my friends island and partied there. I think Sterling looks a little silly in his headdress and I'm disappointed that Sylvia's joey didn't have one

Finally, after far too long catching feathers I have quite the collection

Now, who's in charge of cleaning up the confetti...

Day 57 in Alder Cove

I took yesterday off due to being out all day but today certainly made up for it

Its a new month so new things to collect

Bam gave me his photo, he's forth despite being the first deer in alder cove.

Deirdre was in the roost today

And finally, I noticed something interesting when I logged in today...

We've hit five stars!!!

And we still are not done!

Day 56 in Alder Cove

Today started with a letter from Beau

He sent me a detailed painting

So I went off to Blathers

That's one way to get that nook stamp I guess...

CJ was here and we got more Flick stories

Shino looks adorable when she's angry, and she taught it to me too

Met Don finally, and yes I do remember his brother

And finally, I have two more sets of flowers complete, lilies and windflowers. Now only the pansies and roses are being stubborn

Day 55 in Alder Cove

Today started with a letter from Zell

I'm not sure I'd call a floor light, a 'spicy number'

Diana was unwell today, so she got a delivery of medicine.

That honestly sounds fun

Bam is the reason I spent my evening baking mini pound cakes

Nope I don't want to deal with him... I better deal with him

What is it about my head that makes you insult it?

Rude.

And finally, Beau seems to consider me a best friend so here's hoping I'll get his photo soon.

Day 54 in Alder Cove

We started today with Isabel reminding us of festivale, which I'm looking forward to.

Flick was here today, I didn't have nearly as many bugs saved up but I did have the three dung beetles for the statue

I finally caught someone using the cafe area, though I don't think Beau has had his coffee yet

This was terrifying to walk into

Bruce, Bruce I think Zell's stuck... He's been there an hour

And finally, it was a chill day today. I spent most of the day just hanging out with the deer, enjoying my island, and really thinking through my next plans.

Day 53 in Alder Cove

The snow has melted!

Wooo no more snow... Now how long until the grass is green again

But now it's spring I went around planting bamboo to harvest, rather than just as decoration

In deer drama, Bam and Zell got into an argument, a jumper later and they were fine.

This tiny deer was cooking enough pumpkin scones to feed the island, for herself.

And as we had shooting stars tonight I did the very scientific test to see if Celeste was here. She was not

I removed some of the gyroids from the army and spread them out to see if they would be suitable to hide amongst the forest I have planned

And finally, I caught two of the rare fish I was missing, only took thirty bait...

Day 52 in Alder Cove

Today we started with a letter (and umbrella) from Lopez.... I think he needs to stop having cheese before bed

Label was here today, she wanted a party outfit, so full festivale it is!

Then I switched to a new daily outfit, I need sweater vests irl.

Shino got coffee to avoid a nap,

It didn't work

Complaining about fossils worked again, I only have two to go now

I love you too Lopez, I'm not sure how this is the most powerful tool (unless he's a magical girl)

And finally, my shovel broke while moving flowers after the shop closed. Will I build a new one? No. Will I use the decorative one right behind me? Also no. What will I do? Be sensible and go to bed.... Or fish

Day 51 in Alder Cove

We started today with a cold trip to a friend's island for turnips, I had terrible prices but maybe that means I'll be able to sell high this week.

A trip to Katrina suggests otherwise

Blathers I gave you ten fossils, what do you mean none of them are new...

Bruce, I'm not entirely sure you are as old as you think you are.

I think that's meant to be a compliment, if I go missing, check with the moose.

I had a friend come over to store things while they reset their island, I snuck in some fruit and veg to get them going again.

Shino was quite high energy for a Sunday but I think that was Erik's doing.

And finally, speaking of Erik. I found him sat watching the ants, he was there for quite a long time, slowly sipping on a bowl of soup.

He was having a good day. I hope you did too.

Day 50 in Alder Cove

Today we started with Beau unsupervised by a fire again

I got my third villager photo from Fauna, it joins Erik's and Shino's. I'm so happy, she's my favourite!

The gyroid army is beginning to take over, I'm shipping all the duplicates to a friend and it's still getting out of control

Kapp'n sung about himself tonight as he took me to a boring island. But stilI, I will not skip his songs.

I have finally grown yellow pumpkins so now I can have the full set on my farm.

And finally, I have another full set of hybrid flowers. At some point I will actually get round to building a cloning area.
