It was a sort of happiness Robbie couldn't say he'd ever seen on Sportacus's face. No moment of them knowing each other had ever been close to it.

The elf beamed with an open smile that conveyed raw, unadulterated joy. His laughter rang in the fae’s ears, spilling out the primal cheer that bubbled in Sportacus's chest. The call of nature was stronger than ever before, now outside of Lazytown, and far along the trailing forest path.

Out here, there were only evergreens outlining the horizon, opening the very center to wild and undisturbed meadows. The fields stretched as far as the eye could see, leading to knolls, trees, and rolling hills that glazed into the mountains with a mirage-like haze.

Every patch of grass glimmered in a tapestry of near perfect ochre, contrasting the flowers and mushrooms that sprouted around their current stretch of land.

Sportacus frolicked about as his laughter only intensified, twirling in circles as locks of dirty blonde hair flowed gracefully with each movement. The fae almost wondered if his dancing was the cause of the distant flock of birds now flying far above them.

Though bombarded with the elf's annoyingly energetic antics, Robbie couldn't help the grin on his face. His companion’s radiance was nothing short of contagious, feeling himself thankful for the familiarity of the outdoors.

The setting sun caught on his ombré wings; the deep crevices shimmering an iridescence of pinks and vivid gold as they fluttered gently. Like solder lining stained glass, each vein and intricate detail was highlighted in full effect. It wasn't often he had a chance to free his wings and soak up every ray of sunlight.

At that moment, he decided to take it all in, and just experience.

To feel the warmth, and the breezes of mother nature kissing his cheeks, or the heavy footfalls beneath his soles of fervent leaping.

He continued to carry the picnic basket around his arm, and the folded Gingham blanket at his side, breathing out in content.

Today was a good day. ..

Yes, I think Sportacus is not very good at playing doubles games because he hasn't had anyone to play with before, he's just learning (He'll win in the next round) And maybe Robbie was cheating… What will he wish for?… I don't know…

it's kind of sad that we don't really do custom ringtones anymore. most people just stick with the default list that comes with your phone, if they change it at all. if they're even aware they can change it at all. like yeah, people letting their phones ring in public is obnoxious, but wouldn't it be a little less obnoxious if it was something funny? or personal? people used to change the text tone of every contact so every time they got a text they knew who it was just from the sound. isn't that sweet? isn't that nice? don't you miss it? don't you want to scream when you hear that stupid apple pa-Ting!??? we could have a chorus of awoogas and clips of people's favorite songs and recordings saying '(blank) IS CALLING, WARNING, (blank) IS CALLING' and all things considered i would prefer that over pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, whistle whistle, pa-Ting!

anyway im going to change my ringtone to the oldschool skype call sound and nobody will ever hear it because my phone is always on silent but i'll know. i'll know
