Syria frees women detainees in hostage deal
In accordance with the new Al jazeera the prisioners released was a part of three-way deal to free Lebanese and Turkish hostages. 24 Oct. 2013. Source: Al jazeera.
According to Al Jazeera “Syria frees women detainees in hostage deal” by Al jazeera, the syrian government has released a total of 62 women detainees as part of a three-way prisoner exchange; some sources said on thursday that the women have been released over the two past days. For that reason, the release of scores of female prisoner formed part of the deal arranged by Turkey, Qatar and Lebanon.
On the other hand, nine Lebanese Shia Hostages that was held for 17 months by a rebel group in the northern of syria were exchanged for two turkish pilots that were held in Lebanon since august. Alike, most of the women were released in the masnaa crossing, so they could return to their houses in the country of Syria.
Because of this a lot of people has been detained by the syrian regime. Also. Right groups said torture and abuse are systematic in Syria´s jails.

Dozens killed in Syria suicide bombing

We all have heard about the Syrian conflict between the government of the President Bashar al-Assad and the rebels. Al Jazeera informs us that the last Sunday a suicide rebel member made a truck blew up with a bomber; reporting at least 43 people. The man blew himself up inside the vehicle on a busy road. That was not everything, the explosion made a petrol truck go to flames making everything worse. The images of situation are horrible, fight fighters trying to calm down the fight and big smoke clouds.
Syria and Syria’s citizens have been living a desperate and dangerous situation since the uprising against the president in March of 2011. There has been sporadic violence in recent months taking the citizens by surprise. Even though most of the fights have been between the government and the rebels the general public has suffered a lot. Fortunately on November 23 there is going to be a peace conference for bring together government and opposition.

According to the new “Syria: The rhetoric and the repercussions” by Al Jazeera, the use of chemical weapons in Syria have worried the entire world, causing other countries to take over the situation. The president of the United States, Barack Obama, stated that the prohibition on chemical weapons in wars has been mocked. He also said that the use of these weapons endangers not only to the Syrian people, but the Syria’s borders as well. Therefore, Obama is in favor that a confrontation against the Syrian government is necessary in order to put an end to the war as soon as posible, before is too late.
On the other hand, the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, who supports the Syrian president Bashar Al- Asad, does not agree with Obama’s attempt to attack Syria, because he thinks that the unilateral use of force without the UN Security Council authorisation is a violation against the international law. First of all, Putin said that proof must be presented by the United States to the UN inspectors and the UN Security Council before deciding to attack Syria. The United States have no proof against the Syrian government of being responsible of the use of chemical weapons.
An attack from the United States to Syria could destroy Israel, because the Iranian armed group Hezbollah is prepared with 70,000 rockets capable to be used against Israel. Plus, the Syria’s Borders, like Jordania, Turkey and Lebanon could face repercussions.
