The poor inmate in the stripes was obviously working hard
Do you get a choice at fcj if you are issued the orange slip on canvas shoes or the sandals?
Absolutely!

I am happy to put your convicted ass into orange slides, orange canvas deck shoes, or leather prison boots. And you can have orange or white socks. But you are still going to say Sir Yes Sir and get locked in a cage regardless of your fucking footwear!

This is so much my fantasy
One of my strongest and most deep seated fantasies is to morph in a matter of mere hours from a highly respected man at the top of his game, to a convicted man doing hard farm labor.
An absolute stark fantasy! How many of you share this?
* Groomed fingernails to dirty fingernails
* Showers daily to showers once every 3 days.
* Bespoke suits to prison denim work suits.
* Up at 5 am to go to the gym to up at 5 am to go to the fields
* $40 haircut to weekly headshaves.
* Egyptian cotton shirt to prison made cotton chambray shirt.
* Monogrammed shirt cuffs to spray painted prison stencils.
* Employee ID number to state prison number.
* Poached eggs and avocado toast to burned bacon and grits
* Reading the Wall Street journal to reading a 3 month old copy of Sports Illustrated
* $175,000 a year to $.12 an hour
* Balancing portfolio assets in a macro economy to hand weeding corn rows
* Life partner and soul mate to cellmate
* 4 bathrooms and a study to bunk beds and a metal sink/toilet combo
* Brooks Brothers monogrammed boxer shorts to prison made stencilled boxer shorts
* 25 years to retirement to 25 years to life at hard labor.

I love a perp walk

Yesterday, a respected businessman. Today, a helpless inmate.
He once ruled his company with an iron fist. Now, he鈥檚 the one who has to follow orders.
Deep down, the shame is eating him alive鈥攅specially after spotting a few of his former employees standing outside the courthouse during his hearing.
He knows how ridiculous and pathetic he looks: shackled, in a jail jumpsuit, wearing plastic slides on his bare feet. A humiliating experience, especially next to the police officers and guards escorting him to the prison transport van.
The news he just received from the judge made one thing clear: he wouldn鈥檛 be regaining his freedom anytime soon. The charges against him? Attempted premeditated murder.
He had hired a hitman to kill his wife鈥攑lanning to run off with his mistress. He intended to sell the company and enjoy a new life with his younger lover.
None of that is happening now. His wife is still alive鈥攁nd will likely spend his millions, while he begins a new life of punishment. He鈥檚 facing a 30-year sentence, most likely in a maximum-security prison. Among hardened criminals. Steel bars. Guards barking orders at him every hour of every day. No privacy. Mandatory chores like scrubbing toilets and mopping floors. Poor hygiene.
One mistake could cost him the rest of his freedom. Will he break behind bars?

They should really be restrained when out of their cells
John and James McAllister on their first day on the San Quentin death row. They were convicted of killing their parents for a large inheritance.
John is #24098, and James is #24099. John will be brought to the gallows first, but James will immediately follow. They will hang simultaneously.
But, they have an automatic appeal and 3 months before they start testing the gallows.
James is really scared and wants to be alone in his cell. John is pissed off he has to wear these crappy prison denims to meet a reporter!
