moiraphilip:
Moira watched the little show with mild amusement as it seemed the prey was about to make a clean getaway. Previously, she’d been sitting on the bench minding her newly painted nails when the commotion brought her out of her thoughts. It was just as well since she hadn’t been thinking about anything useful in the moments she had. She looked a bit more amused when the other attacked the wall as if it had insulted her. “Feel better?”
Alex turned towards the other when spoken to, hair wildly flying as she did. Really, she should pull it back with how annoying it was. “Slightly.” Responded she, still angry she had lost her target, but at least it had been because she decided it wasn’t worth it.

nathanielconstantiine:
“Little mouse,” he called out his scowl softening into a slightly twisted smile. Oh how he loved to play his games with her. The poor hunter was so out of her depth and normally he would kill or turn such a being but she brought out his curiosity. To see what she could bring to the table. “Well if that is what you came to do you failed, I’m feeling a lot happier now that you are around. Which I imagine you will fail the other thing you came here to do. I’m not planning to die today little mouse,” he told her. His smile grew as he made his first move. Always trying to be just out of reach for the hunter.
Her adrenaline always surged so strongly when around him, heart pounding so loudly she knew he could hear. Really, she was always so wrapped up in killing him that she tended to forget her training, and was lucky he didn’t decide to just snap her neck one day. It was a game, though, one she played with him completely willingly. “You’re happier I’m around?” Asked she, completely disregarding the pet name he used for her, he knew she hated it, she knew he wouldn’t stop using it. Her fingers gripped the stake so tightly, her knuckles whitened, her breath slowed. Alex threw the stake as he moved, watching it soar through the air and just miss him. She glared, and lunged forward, knowing his dance was always to stay away from her, and attempting to at least close the gap between them.

dmitripetrcvs:
dmitri had been forced to go home after he had worked nearly ninety hours that week. hospital rules stated he could only work eighty. however, he was nearing the end of his residency so he needed to get as many hours in practicing for his boards. honestly, he didn’t know how to really function outside of an operating room. he noticed the woman punch the brick wall in explosive anger. biting his lip he leaned against it keeping his distance from the woman, “ um miss? are you okay? “ he asked figuring that it was his job as a doctor to at least ask if she was alright.
Alex jumped a bit when a voice hit her ears, not expecting someone to hear or see her. She turned, brushing her wild blonde hair back out of her face as it whipped around in the wind. Her adrenaline was already subsiding, causing the pain in her hand to throb a bit, upon examination, she saw that her knuckles had cracked open and were bleeding, but she would heal quickly. “I’m fine.” Responded she, placing her other hand over her knuckles to at least save from getting blood everywhere. “Thanks for asking though.”

“Honestly?” The blonde asked out loud, referring to the kid currently running through Jackson Square from her, bumping into everyone as he glanced back at her to see if she were chasing him. Alex took off after him, making sure to keep her speed in check as there were others around. Once she got into the alley way between the church and some other buildings, she stopped and looked around. “Son of a bitch.” The kid was gone, so much for that bounty. Alex smirked, and punched a wall next to her in anger. She hated her job.

“If I can handle it?” Asked the blonde, moving to sit next to the other huntress with a wicked and challenging grin. “I can handle anything you can throw at me.”
“I’m bored, wanna play a game?” the brunette’s eyes glinted with mischief as she glanced in the direction of the person next to her, “If you can handle it.”

Alex twirled the small stake in her hand, fingers dancing over the wood without a fear of a splinter, it was as smooth as smooth could be. She knew that just lunging at him wouldn’t work, having tried that many times before, so the blonde stalked about until he spoke, freezing in her spot and cussing under her breath. “Damnit..” She could never get him without surprise on her side. The huntress stepped out from the shadows of the room, eyes meeting the vampire’s instantly. “Baby, you know I’m here to sour your mood even more.” She said, a wicked glint in her eye. The blonde would never admit that she loved this game they had, because that would prove she wasn’t actually going to kill him like he always said, but her eyes were a dead giveaway sometimes. Alex’s hand tightened on the stake, ready to move when he did.
“You have ten minutes,” he said with a short tone. His patience had already been tested earlier in the evening and he was not really up for it being tested any more. “So what did you come to see me about and bear in mind my mood is already sour. Try and not test it any more than it already as been,” he warned.
