Zahra hummed under her breath as she rubbed her fingers against the fabric of her jeans. She took a quick step back when the door opened, the look on her face a mix of curiosity and confusion. She must have knocked on the wrong door. “Oh, hello. I think – ,” she began, glancing down at her phone and nodding. “Did I wake you up? I’m really sorry. I’m doing a bit of work for your neighbor - a tall, older man - and I think I got a bit confused.” 

Alexa smiled warmly at the girl, shrugging her shoulders. “Oh, no, no. You’re fine. Don’t even worry about it. People show up here all the time looking for him.” She explained, laughing a bit. “Were you using Google Maps? I think they have something messed up, because this happens way more often than you’d think.” Alexa stepped outside the door a bit more, pointing at the house towards their left. “If it’s Mr. Lombardi, that’s his house right there.”

Ronnie left the shop with snacks and coffee for her friend, figuring she’d need a pick me up after the last night. Upon arrival she knocked on the door and waited impatiently, she had work in an hour and needed to get Alexa up and moving around. “Come on Lex! I know you’re in there,” she said before knocking again. “I have coffee and donuts! Wake up Sleeping Beauty!”

Alexa let out a sigh of relief once she heard the voice on the other side of the door. It was Ronnie. She felt even better when she heard her friend say that she’d brought donuts. “Oh my god. Thank you. You’re amazing!” Alexa replied, smiling as she opened the door to let Ronnie in. “Seriously. What would I do without you? Wait...” Alexa thought for a moment. “I thought you had to work today?”

Alexa had, had a long night, to say the least. She had every intention of sleeping until at least Noon, but it seemed as though someone else had other plans for her. When she heard a knock at the door, she groggily rolled out of bed. “Yeah, yeah. Just a second. I’m coming.” Alexa yelled as she made her way to the entry of her home. She hoped it wasn’t anyone too important, because from her appearance, it was quite evident that she’d just woken up.
