LAS CASAS ASTROLÓGICAS

Mientras los signos son lo que somos (pero nadie puede ver), las casas en la carta natal son la manera en que todos nos conocen. Representan nuestra piel, la manera en que nos mostramos ante el mundo.

Es por esto que la astrología le da mucha importancia a las casas a la hora de interpretar una carta. En esta publicación trataremos de mostrar un poco cómo se hace esto.

El retículo y las zonas de la carta

La carta natal tiene forma circular. Esto es porque el círculo “encierra” o guarda todos los misterios sobre la persona.

Si a ese círculo lo dividimos por la mitad podemos obtener dos resultados.

Al dibujar una línea horizontal habrá una parte arriba y otra abajo. Vamos a ver a la parte de arriba como todo lo “consciente” o planeado que hacemos, por decirlo de alguna manera. Mientras que la parte de abajo es para lo inconsciente, las cosas que hacemos por instinto.

Si en lugar de eso dibujamos una línea vertical, el resultado será un lado izquierdo y un lado derecho. El lado izquierdo es el hogar de todo lo que es para nosotros y el lado derecho da cabida a lo que dirigimos a los demás.

Pero existe otra situación: cuando hacemos ambas divisiones a la vez. Es cuando obtenemos algo llamado retículo.

De esta manera ya podemos empezar a guiarnos cuando vemos la carta natal.

Las zonas de la carta y las casas

Las zonas de la carta nos ayudan a entender la ubicación de dos cosas: los planetas y las casas. En el caso de las casas, nos dejan ver cuál es la función de cada una. Y funciona asi:

Las casas en la zona inconsciente tratan de todo lo que necesitamos para sobrevivir.

Las casas de la zona consciente están enfocadas a nuestras elecciones, lo que queremos en la vida.

Las casas de la zona del yo buscan cosas en o para nosotros.

Las casas de la zona del tú buscan cosas en o para los demás.

Casas del yo inconsciente

Del lado izquierdo y abajo en la carta tenemos un grupo de casas que escapan de nuestro control, pues responden solo al entorno. Pero su objetivo es conseguir para nosotros lo necesario para mantenernos con vida.

Casa 1. En ella el entorno nos entrega una identidad. Se nos da un nombre y nos reconocemos como “el hijo de”, “hermano de”, etc. Se trata del concepto más básico de identidad y solo funciona durante nuestros primeros años.

Los planetas en esta casa nos indican la fuerza con la que entramos al mundo. Qué tanto adoptamos la identidad que se nos ha entregado.

Casa 2. Al principio de nuestra vida somos seres vulnerables, incapaces de valernos por nosotros mismos y de cubrir nuestras propias necesidades: alimento, un hogar. Todo eso corresponde a esta casa.

La Casa 2 va más allá de eso. Incluye también el reconocimiento de nuestra identidad física, siguiendo el trabajo de la casa anterior. Aprendemos hasta dónde somos nosotros y donde el resto del mundo. Se trabaja, entre otras cosas, el espacio personal y las necesidades básicas.

Casa 3. Cómo hablar, cómo vestir, cómo comportarnos. O en qué creer, qué fé profesar. A quiénes seguir. Esto es lo que corresponden a la Casa 3.

Está casa lleva el trabajo de nuestra educación inicial. Aquí se nos entregan o nos enseñan las herramientas para la vida.

Casas del tú inconsciente

Del lado derecho y abajo en la carta, tenemos tres casas que son nuestro primer paso es integración en la sociedad. Sus objetivos se sentirán en aprender a formar parte de un colectivo o grupo.

Casa 4. El primer grupo social es la familia, es el mundo en su mínima expresión para el ser humano. Y de eso trata la casa cuatro.

Aquí se ponen a prueba nuestro aprendizaje hasta ahora, las enseñanzas que hemos recibido de nuestra familia; también cobran importancia las tradiciones, la situacion social, la economía de nuestra familia como grupo.

Aquí ya no importamos solo nosotros, sino que cobramos valía como parte de un grupo: el familiar. Y a partir de esto daremos el primer paso hacia una situación social más grande o extensa.

Casa 5. Es conocida como la casa de la creatividad y el romance. Ya hemos entrado al mundo, pero comienza la lucha por intentar formar parte de él. Esto es, obtener una identidad ante la sociedad sin perder la identidad que ya conocemos.

La Casa 5 se desarrolla como una “zona segura” donde practicamos lo que es estar en la sociedad, pero sin tomar aún las responsabilidades que esto conlleva, porque todavía cargamos con el respaldo de nuestros orígenes. Cómo aprender a andar en bici pero con rueditas.

Casa 6. Para ajustarnos a la sociedad, hace falta tener un papel o rol activo en ella. Esto sucede en la casa seis o la casa del trabajo. Esta casa empieza a hacernos conscientes de nosotros, pero continuamos luchando por las cosas básicas de nuestra vida. La más importante: ser responsables de nosotros mismos.

Aquí incluimos el ganarnos o trabajar para obtener lo que necesitamos. Ya sea alimento, vivienda o cualquier otra cosa. Esta casa reclama que nosotros mismos cubramos todas las necesidades de supervivencia y nos integra por completo a la sociedad.

Casas del tú consciente

Son casas donde construirmos, realizamos un cambio o sacrificio para perfeccionarnos a nosotros mismos. En las casas de arriba a la derecha, queda atrás el obtener de los demás y nos volvemos creadores.

Casa 7. Aquí damos el primer paso en el mundo de forma consciente. Nos encontramos socializando, interactuando con los demás. En esta casa somos capaz de crear una imagen para mostrar al mundo.

Es también la casa del tú más intensa. Aquí nos ajustamos nosotros mismos para poder relacionarnos con otros. Nos reinventamos y aprendemos a usar “las reglas del juego” a nuestro favor.

Casa 8. Esta es la casa del sacrificio, la muerte o de las posiciones de otros. Primero obtuvimos cosa de los demás, después aprendimos a obtener cosas por nosotros mismos. En esta casa es hora de aprender a dejar ir.

Se debe a que en esta casa nos desprendía de las cosas innecesarias. Culpas, rencores, posesiones, egos, amistades que no nos aportan nada en nuestra vida.

Para todos esta es una casa crítica. Entendemos que la carta representa a nuestra alma y que está alma encarnó en el mundo con un propósito. Es por esto que esta casa es una prueba o una purificación. Nos hace desprendernos de todo lo que no nos deja cumplir con la tarea de nuestra alma.

Casa 9. Una vez que hemos dejado atrás todo lo que nos detiene en nuestra tarea de vida, somos capaces de replantearnos todo. La casa nueve es filosófica en este sentido. Entrar en ella es un proceso de aprendizaje.

Ya nos libramos de pensamientos que el mundo puso en nosotros y no nos correspondían, así que ahora tenemos que construir los propios y, de ser el caso, los transmitimos a nuevas generaciones. Por esto también conocemos a esa casa como la de los guías o maestros.

Casas del yo consciente

Hemos dejado atrás el tomar y empezamos a construir. Es hora de retribuir al mundo por lo que en su momento nos otorgó. Las tres casas de arriba a la izquierda representan eso mismo. El ganar a partir de dar algo o ayudar a otros.

Casa 10. Se trata de lo que entregamos o construimos para nosotros mismos. La búsqueda de éxitos personales se encuentra aquí. En muchas ocasiones las personas dejan su marca en el mundo a través de esta casa, y dirigen sus aspiraciones a ella.

Casa 11. Una manera de ilustrar está casa es la de aquellas personas que tratan de ayudar a aquellos que ven sufrir. Basa su retribución a aquellos que están en su círculo inmediato y con la cuales interactúa activamente.

Casa 12. Construye para todo el mundo. Está casa genera un abandono del ego y ve su éxito en ayudar a los demás sin distinción ni nada que se interponga.

Por supuesto, la interpretación va a depender también de la posición del planeta en la casa (no signos por casa). Aquí buscamos conocer la manera en que el planeta se expresa en el mundo o si, por el contrario, el mundo le impide actuar en él.

PRECOGNITION in an inner knowledge or sense of future events.

PSYCHOMETRY is the faculty of gaining impressions from a physical object and its history.

RADIESTHESIA is the general term for divination using a device such as a divining rod or pendulum. Other forms include “table tipping” which was practiced at the White House in the 19th century, the Ouija board, automatic writing (or superconscious writing), and scrying.

SCIOMANCY is divination using a spirit guide, a method generally employed by chanelers.

SCRYING is a general term for divination using a crystal, mirrors, bowls of water, ink, or flames to induce visions.

TASSEOGRAPHY is the reading of tea leaves that remain in a tea cup once the beverage has been drunk.

Uncommon Types of Divination

AEROMANCY divination from the air and sky, particularly concentrating on cloud shapes, comets, and other phenomena not normally visible in the heavens.

ALECTRYOMANCY is divination whereby a bird is allowed to pick corn grains from a circle of letters. A variation is to recite letters of the alphabet noting those at which a cock crows.

ALEUROMANCY is divination using “fortune cookies”; answers to questions are rolled into balls of dough and once baked are chosen at random.

ALOMANCY is divination by table salt.

ALPHITOMANCY uses special cakes that are digestible by persons with a clear conscience but are unpleasant to others.

GASTROMANCY is an ancient form of ventriloquism whereby the voice is lowered to a sepulchral tone and prophetic utterances are delivered in a trance state.

GELOSCOPY is the divination from the tone of someone’s laughter.

GENETHLIALOGY is divination by the influence of the stars at birth.

GEOMANCY is the study of figures on the ground and the influence of the Earth’s “currents”.

GRAPHOLOGY is the analysis of character through handwriting.

GYROMANCY is a divination procedure where a person walks in a circle marked with letters until they become dizzy and stumble at different points, thus spelling out a prophesy.

PYROMANCY and PYROSCOPY are forms of divination by fire or flame, often assisted by substances thrown onto the flames.

RHABDOMANCY is divination using a stick or wand. These methods were forerunners of the divining rod.

RHAPSODOMANCY is a means of divination using a book of poetry whereby the book is opened at random and a passage read.

SIDEROMANCY is the burning of straws with a hot iron, the resulting figures having divinatory properties.

SORTILEGE is the casting of lots and the assessment of omens indicated.

SPODOMANCY is divination using cinders or soot.

STICHOMANCY is another form of throwing open a book and selecting a random passage for the purpose of divination.
