Yeah, not all. I make a good decision here and there. I’m not all that terrible. There’s nothing wrong with being addicted to caffeine. Coffee and any other caffeine is kickasss.

Exactly, I need to show you a whole new world when it comes to coffee, man. I take that as a challenge and I wholeheartedly accept it.

I’ve probably been drinking the shitty cheap shit. Maybe you’ll have to show me the stuff you have so I can be introduced into the wonderful world of coffee.

For sure, I feel like I crash way too easily after I’ve had way too much of it in a day. You definitely do, man, I might even be willing to give you a discount or a free drink if you do. 

You have to ease off it, huh? It’s a drug, really. I don’t blame you. Speaking of Fred’s, I need to come by sometime. It feels way too long since I’ve had a proper drink.

“Please, you look beautiful. Then again, you always look beautiful so I’m not surprised that you managed to make casual look utterly spectacular.” Alex grinned easily, feeling the fluttering of nervous butterflies erupt in his stomach that weren’t there prior to seeing Olivia. “Let’s go then, yeah? We want to make it there on time.” He said vaguely, holding his hand out for Olivia to take so that they could head on down to his car. Alex waited for her to handle everything she needed to before shutting the door and made his way to his to his parked car. Opening up the passenger side door for Olivia, Alex gave her small, charming grin and shut it once she was inside of the car, going to his own side of the car.

The drive wasn’t too short, Alex pulling up to the local park in town and didn’t offer any answers as he parked the car then turned it off. He got out of the car and headed to the trunk, opening it up to grab a small picnic basket and a blanket. “It’ll make sense in just a few minutes, I swear I didn’t take you to the park to just have a picnic this late at night.” He laughed.

To say Olivia was nervous about her first date with Alex was an understatement. Her previous luck with guys has not been the greatest, but she knew that Alex was different. Alex was her best friend, and she was happy that they finally acknowledge their feelings for each other. Olivia quickly got ready for the date, while checking her outfit for the hundred time. Even though, Alex told her to dress casually, so it probably didn’t matter what she wore. Eventually, she made her way to her living room to wait for him. Olivia knew that she was going to enjoy the date because she always liked spending time with Alex, so tonight wasn’t going to be an exception. The only difference would be that they are officially calling it a date now. 

When she finally heard the doorbell ring, Olivia checked to make sure that her dog was okay before making her way to the door. She tried to calm her nervous butterflies in her stomach before reaching to open the doorknob. Olivia hoped that tonight was going to be a night that they both cherished for a long time. She swung the door open to see Alex and the feelings in her stomach intensified, but she ignored them. “Hi.” She beamed at him before opening her door wider. “I hope I am dressed okay for our adventure.”

There’s another one of you? Lord help us all. I always forget there’s twin terrors running around town.

I suppose now is as good as a time as ever to join this thing, right? Can’t say I’m too keen on becoming addicted to another social networking site, but I suppose I’ll make do.

Alex was trying not to be nervous because he did not ever get nervous, but tonight was different. He was actually going on a date with Olivia and was going to try his best to make sure it was one of the best dates that she’d ever have. After letting her know he was going to arrive in a bit to pick her up, he was trying not to let his nerves get to him. After he finished getting ready, Alex got into his car and headed down to Olivia’s apartment. He parked out by the curb and got out of the car, heading up to the front door. Ringing the doorbell, the male stuffed his hands nervously into the pockets of his jeans and bit down on his bottom lip. He really wanted this to go well, considering he’d never liked anyone like he liked Olivia before. This was a special night and he was going to make sure of it.

OLIVIA: Oh, I sometimes changed my schedule at the Diner, if I could get anyone to switch with me. But, if not I would just come to the bar late at night to see you, like always. I've enjoyed our weekends together too. Really? I wish I knew that I would have cleared my schedule more often.

OLIVIA: I can't wait for that day then. :)

ALEX: You're incredibly cute and I adore you, I hope you realize that. Yes, really. Hey, it's alright. We have all the time in the world to spend time with one another. Speaking of which..when are you free next? We need to go out on that first date. I'm bound and determined to impress.

Well, if I must appease your curiosity. A very amazing, intelligent, pretty girl happens to like me like I like her, even if I don’t deserve her attention in the slightest. So I’d say I’m in a very good mood and it’s been a very good day all around. I’m one lucky man.
