"I have come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it. Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you're going, but you know that so long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you." -C. JoyBell C.

[032616] JasVentures in Virgin Beach Resort
Family outing at Virgin Beach Resort in Batangas

This trip is one of the best example of the “mas-natutuloy-pag-hindi-planado” trip lol. It was actually my cousin who asked us if we want to go to the beach and make the most out of papsi’s short vacation in the Philippines. So yeah, long story short we went to the beach the next day haha.
Virgin beach resort is found in Laiya Batangas which is 2-3 hrs drive from Manila (Depends on the traffic). It offers a variety of water activities that will surely satisfy the swimmers thirst for some water action. Example of water activity is the Banana Boat that me and my family tried. For PHP 1500, six people can ride the banana boat and roam around the sea, Island to Island !
Another must try is the Snorkeling. Same price as the Banana boat, a small boat with 2 captains will bring you and the 5 others to the middle of the sea (10 ft deep). In there, you will be able to see variety of fishes. From small size to medium size fishes that you can feed if you want. Beautiful coral formations is present too ! But be aware that they are quite fragile so please dont’ step or stand on them and also be careful of sea urchins !
Nothing much to post and tell about this trip because I forgot the rest (hahaha)

[030516-030916] JasVentures in Singapore
Touring the Lion City for the 2nd time around.
Tour Details ~ May 5 - 9, 2016 Airline : Jetstar Terminal : NAIA 1 Hotel in SG : Strand Hotel

This is my second visit to the Lion City and I still couldn't get enough. Maybe the only thing I don’t like about Singapore is the weather. Its very humid !! Makes me feel so sticky and it kinda ruins the mood to roam around the city. We left Manila at around 7:00 pm and arrived at Singapore at around 10:00 pm. As a first time passenger of Jetstar Airlines, I can say that I'm fairly satisfied with their services on air. The plane is kinda small (3x3) but its comfortable and worth its price. (Jetstar Airline is cheaper compared to other airlines catering flights to Singapore)
Our first stop is Universal Studios Singapore/Sentosa !!! Me and my friends spent the whole day in Sentosa. In the morning, we enjoyed ourselves in Universal Studios. We rode thrilling rides and went to entertain ourselves in different attractions. For me the highlight of this USS trip is Battleship Galactica Ride ♡ As an adrenaline junkie, I'm so disappointed when Galactica was close during my first visit so I promised myself that the next time I'll visit USS again, I'll make sure to never miss the chance and ride this high speed baby! (And tadaaaa ~ I managed to check Galactica from my extreme roller coaster list)
After we had our yummy lunch at a random fast food chain inside USS, Me and my friends decided to explore more of Sentosa. So the next minute, I found myself inside the sentosa express and alighted at Imbia Station which is only one station away from USS. In Imbia, you can find the big replica of Merlion. (The original Merlion can be found at Raffles Place Station) and one of the coolest (for me) and fun activity a tourist can do in Sentosa. Its none other than SENTOSA LUGE!!
We spent the rest of our days exploring Singapore and doing what really is the purpose of our trip there. We went to 3 IT Companies namely, Cisco, Microsoft and SG Railway Company. We spent 2.5 to 3 hours in every company, listening to their presentations and joining the different activities that they prepared for us. It was a very satisfying moment since I learned a lot from the 3 companies. Hopefully, I can work in one of those companies someday!

[040316] JasVentures in Mt. Talamitam and Mt. Apayang
First Hiking Experience : Mt. Talamitan & Mt. Apayang Traverse.

I experienced my first hike last April 3, 2016. Mt. Talamitan and Mt. Apayang is located at the center of Nasagbu Batangas which is only 3 hours away from Metro Manila!
This two beauties' difficulty range is 3 out 10 ((only)) so its considered by mountain hikers and enthusiasts to be fairly easy and beginner friendly. We left Molino at around 4 am and arrived at the foot of Mt. Talamitan at around 7 am. The frequent hikers who happened to be the organizers and our tour guide for this hike gave as a brief and fast summary of what to expect, Do's and Don’t's, safety pre cautions and of course a silent prayer for the safety of everyone. So now we're all set and ready to conquer a new adventure !

Despite being known as a "Beginner Friendly" mountain, Mt. Talamitan gave me a hard time. Like I'm literally shouting "THE STRUGGLE IS REAL" whenever I can (haha) and if the pictures above are not good enough proof to show how done I was then I suggest you try it out yourself.
But in my defense, Its quite expected since I don’t go out much and I'm a certified computer/cellphone girl. I can literally survive the whole day without doing anything else as long as I'm in front of my two babies (laptop and cellphone) so to make things short, I don't EXERCISE nor go to GYMS for some physical work outs (hahahaha) so I suggest, before engaging this kind of adventure (hiking) you guys should be physically and mentally (lol) ready and I MEAN IT GUYS. Take it from someone who experienced the realness of the word "struggle" (haha)

Mt. Talamitan compared to other hiking mountains is made up mostly of flat terrains so rest assured you can sit back and relax for a minute or two to catch your breathe or maybe to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

View from Mt. Talamitam's Summit is so breathe taking ♡
After a tiring but fulfilling hike you can reward yourself. Take a dip and relax your sore muscles on the river found at the other side of the foot of Mt. Talamitam. I suggest you enjoy the scenery first, take some pictures and chat with your fellow hikers before taking a dip to avoid "Pasma"
This hike will forever be the most memorable. Well aside from it being my first time, I experienced something out of the ordinary on that day and to be very honest, it FREAKED ME OUT so much I cried while we're resting on top of Mt. Apayang Summit. Believe it not (I know some won't believe this because of our different religion beliefs but I just wanna share my experience ^^) I saw a silhouette of a girl standing not very far from us and she's calling my name softly. She's very white but I can distinguished it as a girl because her hair is long but I cant see her face and body since she's very bright. I freaked out because the last time I saw something like that was 10 years ago. I was 10 that time when my mom told me that I kept on telling her that someone is trying to play and talk to me while pointing at the unoccupied lot in front of our house. So yeah, long story short, my sixth sense is OPEN and it's kinda scary but I want to explore more of this gift.
