Netflix Originals Film Identity 2019 from Imaginary Forces on Vimeo.
(When viewing, please switch your setting to HD or 2K) When presented with the opportunity to develop a new logo for Netflix, we asked ourselves how we could create an iconic visual identity that represents the diverse collection of Netflix's stories. Working closely with the Netflix team, we took the colors from Netflix’s vast array of content and animated them into vivid graphic lines of light that band together into a vibrant color spectrum- forming the logo. The rich hues live in the Netflix "N" to signify the breadth of genres, emotions, and narratives that make up Netflix's exuberant catalogue of content. Together, they create an immersive sea of color that mimics the power and resonance of the Netflix experience.
A homage to the work of William Morris’s floral designs and illustrations of the 19th Century. Exploring the realtime growth of flowers to form a modern illuminated letter, used by Morris in his own publications as a remedy to the ugliness of the new industrial world. Inspiration for the flowers used in the film came directly from Morris’s own floral illustrations, inspired by William Robinson work popularising the ‘English cottage garden’ giving the film a summer time feeling as the light moves around the structure to its final position.

We were tasked with the creation of a tangible connection between Pepsi and music. Our signature visual motif is paired with tracks that were built from the refreshing sounds of opening and drinking a Pepsi. Two spots - two styles of music.
