Some people asked me to do a tutorial on drawing rocks, and since I found myself drawing rocks a lot these days, I thought I would share some things that I do.

Note: I am not a professional artist nor have I received much professional instruction. I am self-learned and thus prone to error. If you see anything wrong with the above contents, feel free to point it out, and generally, take this whole thing with a grain of salt. You don’t have to draw rocks this way.

And since this is my first time making a tutorial, feedback on readability/helpfulness would also be welcome, so that I can have a better idea of what to do in case I make another one.

Finally, day 04 & 05 of my prompt list: Village & Villagers. Could’ve spend days on this, draw every house in detail, come up with every villager… but I wanna move forward with the list hehe

Austin James Smith is a designer whose face is often the main canvas for his dark and whimsical pieces. Her fantastic creations include fantasy applications, piercings, jewelry, tattoos, and fake blood.

The career he studied was in the textile industry, where he had to do above all with printing and printing. This after attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Once outside he realized that working in a textile design factory covered in sweat and paint was not his thing, because it did not completely satisfy his creativity. Little by little, Smith began to study the different ways of making his ideas come true. And in no time, he found a new way to wear and photograph jewelry, headdresses, and various unconventional objects like pearls, metal, and paint. For each creation, Smith must be very fast and consistent in applying makeup, jewelry and other elements on his face. Simply because you cannot leave fake tattoos for example, collect everything and continue with your session the next day.

Smith’s presence on Instagram has increased his popularity, and he is grateful to live in New York, where he can freely express himself.
