Ehehhe it's a painting based on a screenshot I took in game, forcing poor Link to spend hours riding a dragon while I figured out the best camera angle

He was lucky, to some degree. The landscape paintings I did in Skyrim were done in real time, so my dovahkiin was often forced to just stand there and be bitten by wolves or set on fire by dragons... While I hurried to clean my hands and grab the controller

You'd think Animal Crossing would be a calm game to paint and vibe. But all the villagers hate posing for me and immediately start moving as I start

Ooooh this one got on my nerves because the cheap gouache I was using for it kept getting super de-saturated. My big brain really thought using cotton paper - known for absorbing color - with this type of paint was a good plan :P

But!!!! I like it. If you squint, it almost looks like what I was trying to achieve here with the lighting

I'm not editing it though, let's call it a ✨ learning experience✨

For my fellow artists out there, check out water-soluble graphite as an art material. I've had it for a while but only now I'm starting to experiment more with it's use

Definitely gonna try making a full paintimg with it later. The one I have is from Lyra, but many brands make them

I can't decide which edit i like better, so here's two

The paint I was using as underpainting began cracking as it dried. You can see how it created clumps and weird stripes from my brush. So, uh, cheap paint sometimes isn't worth it even for simple things like this

Comic part 1 out of gods know how many. I was writing a fic, got bored and yeah. This. There will be more, I say ominously, knowing that ao3 writer's curse can't get me here >:)

I'll link the parts together once I'm done with the next set of pages

Obviously I loooved all the time travel / canon divergence AUs hk fics. But this was mostly inspired by Rain World fics and... Attack on Titan. I told myself I shouldn't start more crossover stories, so instead I'm drawing a comic AU (I sound suspiciously like Undertale fandom years and years back, there were sooo many comics)

The story I have planned is short, but if I give up and finish the fic instead, at least there'll be some pages illustrated.

Yes I drew and painted this on paper, then I realized my handwriting is, um, an abomination. So yay, I spent time editing in some actual readable words.
