“Those damn Dawson’s river kids” got me lol. Oh man, how I’ve missed you. So the scene, it was actually around the college time period, not the high school years. Surprisingly it wasn’t SPECIFICALLY a Dawson/Joey scene that sealed the deal. It was a Pacey scene that finally snapped the ship into place. Pacey was back, being his general snarky self, and I thought, “man, he’s such a little asshole.”

Then the Dawson/Joey moments happened and voila! I converted a bit.

So I’ve been rewatching Dawson’s Creek for the thousandth time, and for whatever reason, this time around….I think I prefer Dawson and Joey to Joey and Pacey. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe this day hath finally appeared!

ALISON, HELLO! It's amazing to see/read you and then ON TOP OF THAT???? You deliver the miracle of shipping Dawson/Joey over Pacey/Joey. I can hardly believe it either. What a gift.

Was there a particular scene or moment that made you change your mind, or just a general vibe? Did Dawson finally convince you with the patented Dawson single-eyebrow-raise??
