Alice began to walk with him as they reached the end of the forest. Seeing the trail that leads to the village. "Oh, yes. I was hoping to find the white rabbit there. He ran off, so I need to catch up with him." She replied to Cyrus with a small smile.

Cyrus waited a few moments to be sure she was steady, to be safe, before making any move to begin walking in any direction.  Part of it was, of course, to be certain she was alright but also she was the one who knew her destination.  As they walked, he looked over to her with a friendly smile.  ”Were you meeting anyone in town?” he asked.

"Oh, yes. Please." Alice answered, allowing Cyrus to help her get back onto her feet. She would of handled herself, but with the pain in her head. It was hard for her to get her balance to stand on her own. Once she was able to stand up, she began to walk alongside with him as they headed further down into the woods. She remembered that there was a town in that direction.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well Alice," he replied, watching as she made to sit up.  "Where were you headed before those men waylaid you?"  Cyrus hoped it was at least somewhere he had an idea of where it was…although if she’d been headed in that direction then it mattered little if he actually knew where she needed to go.  So long as she made it to her destination safely, that was all that really mattered.  "Do you need any assistance standing?"  He didn’t want to help without making she sure actually wanted it first, knowing some did not appreciate people making such assumptions.

Alice smiled, feeling a bit more safe that he was going to stay with her. As long as he can help her get to the nearest town, she couldn't have to worry about keeping him with her longer. Knowing that he probably has to get back to his business or something. "It's an honor to meet you, Cyrus. My name is Alice." She introduced herself. Trying to pull herself off the ground.

Cyrus smiled a bit, ducking his head at her words.  ”You’re very welcome.”  He wanted to say anyone would have done the same, but the genie had lived long enough to know that wasn’t exactly true.  It just seemed to be luck his current master couldn’t care less where he took off to, seeing as he was easy to call back.  ”Of course,” he said in reply to her request.  ”If that would make you feel safer I would be more than happy to accompany you.”  After a moment, it seemed to him only proper to introduce himself as they were going to be in each other’s company for a little while longer.  ”My name is Cyrus.”
