Professional artists Griselda and Normand Lemay both work as feature animation artists for Walt Disney Studios, but the creativity doesn’t stop during their free time. Their shared Instagram account grizandnorm is a delightful gallery of illustrations featuring familiar Disney characters as well as original characters and plenty of cute kitty cats. Lately they’ve been just as excited about The Force Awakens as the rest of us, so they’ve been creating lots of Star Wars-related fan art. Griselda created an awesome series of portraits of her favorite Star Wars characters with their pet cats.

We’ve learned all sorts of awesome new things today, including the fact that vampire bats adopt orphans, one pencil can draw a line 35 miles long, and snails can sleep for up to 3 years at a time. These random facts are part of an ongoing series of single panel educational illustrations created by Atlanta-based children’s book illustrator Mike Lowery.
