Extra detail: you can tell it is a prosthetic eye when he just got resurrected in the ending. There is a few moments he wasn't wearing a glass eye. Then he got it back during the last feast.

one of the things I really really like about mithrun's design is that ryoko kui could have given him an eyepatch easily. he's a captain of an elite elven force that takes orders directly from their queen, etc etc, she could have easily made him have a Cool Eyepatch. maybe shown his face once and then covered it up. fuck, even just have hair in front of it all the time, that would also have been fairly easy.

instead, she has given him a lazy eye and therefore an assymetrical face. the kind of face some people would be uncomfortable looking at in real life. and she showed him. all the time. looking straight out of the page, yes, but also in the background and in dialogues and in comedic moments and she showed his expressions and it's just special to me

edit: not a lazy eye but a prosthetic one! which is even cooler! god I fucking love mithrun what a guy
