Last Visit is a tribute to Lefteris Voyatzis (1945 - 2013), an indisputable milestone in the modern history of Greek theater that defined people, projects, and our theatrical perception. He defined and was defined by the Theater of Odou Kykladon. At this place he left work, memories, and senses that still intensively exist. Through this strange dreamy visit he returns to favourable theatrical place for a proper farewell to his friends and colleagues.

A documentary, a tribute to Lefteris Vogiatzis. It is a strange dreamy, associative tour of the world of Lefteris and the Theater of Cyclades Street.



At Hommage, images, documents, sounds, rare archival material from the Theater of Cyclades Street, excerpts from his performances, memories and interviews with his collaborators, are weaved in one composition. The theatrical space becomes a living map of memories, imagination and interpretation. It includes some experiential elements, but it is more of a personal glimpse of Spiros Alidakis in the particular area with which he has been associated professionally, artistically and emotionally in recent years.



Lefteris Vogiatzis is an indisputable milestone in the history of Greek theater that defined people, projects, our theatrical perception, the flow of theatrical happenings. He defined and was defined by the Cyclades Street Theater area and the theater space in general. He left work, memories, senses that still exist and relate and touch those who knew him before and those who get to know him now.



The documentary features many of his collaborators, such as Dimitris Imellos, Amalia Moutoussi, Yannis Dalianis, Thanos Tokakis, Eleni Manolopoulou, Maria Skoula, Pantelis Dentakis, Evangelia Andreadaki, Peggy Stathakopoulou, Stefania Goulioti, Omiros Poulakis, Nikolas Papagiannis, Argyris Pandazaras, Gerasimos Michelis and others, sharing stories, experiences and memories, giving us a more complete picture of Lefteris.


The aim of the film, above all, is to bring as many as possible and, especially the younger generations, into contact with the work of a personality, who, though one might say, was restricted for the most of his theatrical career to a single space and place, managed to raise issues about art and humanity in such a universal way.

Μια site-specific παράσταση του Σπύρου Αλιδάκη για τη ζωή και το έργο του Λευτέρη Βογιατζή αποκλειστικά στο Θέατρο της Οδού Κυκλάδων. Μια βιωματική εμπειρία όπου οι θεατές ανακαλύπτουν τα ίχνη και την παρουσία του δικού μας Λευτέρη μέσα σε όλο τον χώρο του θεάτρου του, σε ένα θέαμα που συνδυάζει θέατρο, κινηματογράφο και πολυμέσα, με τη συμμετοχή πολλών συνεργατών του. Με την multimedia αυτή παράσταση, το Θέατρο της Οδού Κυκλάδων ανοίγεται στις νέες τεχνολογίες επιδιώκοντας να μυήσει και τις νεότερες γενιές στο έργο του Λευτέρη Βογιατζή, με τα πλέον επίκαιρα μέσα.

Στο Hommage εικόνες, ντοκουμέντα, ήχοι, βιντεο-προβολές, αρχειακό υλικό του Θεάτρου της Οδού Κυκλάδων, αποσπάσματα από τις παραστάσεις του, αναμνήσεις και συνεντεύξεις, εμπλέκονται σε μία σύνθεση. Ο χώρος του θεάτρου γίνεται ένας ζωντανός χάρτης αναμνήσεων, φαντασίας και ερμηνείας, μέσα από ένα multimedia θέαμα.
