Finding out that Captain America 3 was originally meant to be a direct sequel the The Winter Soldier and would’ve focused on Steve and Sam’s search for Bucky, with a focus on Steve and Bucky’s relationship, but was scrapped for Civil War because DC released Batman vs Superman has actually ruined my day. Probably my week.

yelling into the void here but i was thinking about xmen dofp and its talked a lot about the tension during the airplane scene but no one ever mentions when erik says some fuck ass shit about him understanding why raven meant so much to charles or something like that. let me tell you if a man left me heavily injured/paralyzed, stranded on a beach, disappeared for years, then came back a decade later and accused me of abandoning him and criticized me giving up my powers to just stay sane AND THEN heavily implied he fell in love/had a thing with my sister i would've ended up on national news. charles should've jumped clear across the table and locked his hands around erik's neck and not let go until the light left his eyes imo

that’s what kills me the most is that erik’s anger and rage and actions are just a byproduct of his trauma and pain. and he was meant to have peace and love and tenderness, but life was so cruel and he just got handed the worst fucking hand. and he turned into something he never thought he’d become but thought he had to be that person because why would life give him such misery if it wasn’t to shape him into a monster?
