20 Things I’ve Learned in 20 Years
1. Trust Nobody.
Betrayal is a thing.
2. In the end, you only have yourself.
Even as social beings, learn to survive on your own.
3. Socks matter
Depends on the shoes.
4. When in doubt, always choose No.
If you were sure about it, you wouldn’t doubt it.
5. Be more open for connections, even if its meaningless.
It will help you in the future.
6. Everything happens for a reason.
The meaningless connection you just made will be meaningful soon enough.
7. Listen.
Be a good listener, might help someone going through something you don’t know about. Don’t try to give advice when not asked.
8. Always ask first.
Consent.
9. Spend the last penny.
More money will appear through thin air.
10. If you cant buy two of it, you can’t afford it.
11. 'Work for your worldly life as if you will live forever, and for the hereafter as if you will die tomorrow'
Not sure if this is a hadith or not, but there are other similar verses in the Quran like this one; (al-Baqara, 2/200-201) (al-Qasas, 28/77)
12. Stop having parasocial relationships
13. Whats meant for you will find its way to you
14. Grocery shopping is free therapy
15. Make mistakes
Dont be embarrassed. People make mistakes all the time. You’re human. You’re new to this shit.
16. If it doesn’t matter for the next 5 years, dont waste 5 minutes on it.
17. Dont be so bummed out about things thats out of your control.
18. Eat.
19. High standards on anything and everything
Dont be fooled over the bare minimum
20. Fuck it, live recklessly
(With boundaries)

Something I’ve been Ignoring
I want to be more in touch with my creative side, since I’ve realized that i’m the happiest when i do art.
Any form of art, could be music (DJ, playing the bass, guitar, just the band experience overall), photography, videography, painting, drawing, making sculptures, sewing, cross-stitching, writing or even designing.
I LOVE doing those. I feel like I can express myself correctly (that scratches my brain right) with those mediums.
I want to explore more. I’ve been following the common and trying so hard to fit in, knowing damn well it doesn’t matter. It never does. It never was. And it never will.
People aren’t like what they used to be, Chase. This isn’t junior high school anymore.
And you know what? If you dont belong there, you dont. If you do, you do. And you’ll feel so much better with your people, feeling the genuine connection you’ll build with time.
I’ve connected with so many people through art, and I will be continuing to do so. I dont know who I was pretending as for the past few months but that was definitely not me. But hey, life’s about exploring and seeing what works for you and what not right? At least thats how I do it.
No Ragrets.
