"Oh, I did, did I? Please explain,” Alihan replied, almost irritated at how he couldn’t seem to keep a smirk from turning into an actual grin. Usually he and his face were on the same page, but clearly, today, they were not.
Or maybe he just wasn’t feeling like enough of an arse for a smirk.

The corners of his lips twitched upwards, with a quick glance down while drumming his fingers against the bookshelf, Hugo managed to stop himself from turning his response flirtatious.
“I’m sorry but, you do realise what unexpected means, yeah? You practically handed me that one.”

“Well it all depends, really, on how much you like to surprise me. Wasn’t aware that you did.” Alihan replied, pushing off from where he was standing, his expression clearly amused.
There was definitely a certain amount of charm in the way Hugo looked at him, looking a bit like a ruffled cat. Almost enough to make Alihan forget just how quickly Louis would probably be on him if he knew he was talking to Hugo.
It was just another line he had to be careful while he walked along them.

Hugo’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, allowing the sixth year to scramble after the book, he turned toward the speaker— knowing he knew the voice but still not able to pin it down just yet. And——
That fucker.
Hugo tried to keep his face blank, trying not to show he wasn’t disgruntled with Alihan’s appearance.

“I’m starting to think you like surprising me as much as I like to surprise you.”

“Didn’t want to let them figure that out on their own? Hugo Weasley, somewhat unexpected good samaritan.” Alihan leaned against one of the stacks a bit behind Hugo, a faint smirk across his lips.

If you read that book, you’re never going to fully understand how to cast a Patronus Charm. Yes, you may still be able to, but it will be exceedingly difficult. Try the book by Iris Woran, yeah?

“No? Alright, I’ll stay here then. Continue avoiding everyone in there for the day. Which is why I’m out here. Seems like everyone’s runnin’ about with their heads cut off. You?” He replied, reaching into his pocket to get his own cigarette, lighting it wordlessly.

Pierce gives him a genuine smile.
Y’ ain’t a bother, I can tell y’ that. ‘t’s nice—’avin’ company once ‘n a while, yeah? What brings y’ out ‘ere then?

Nice to actually meet you, he replied, closing his eyes and relaxing into the grass. ‘s nice out here, I see why you were out here. Nobody to bother you.. Well, besides me.

Pierce nods at him with a genuine smile.
Pierce Banker—th’ prick with th’ accent, ‘pparently.

It’s not?

... Yep, totally missed out buddy.
I wish that was the case.

…Not on purpose. However, I see the humor in the idea. I missed out.

Your mum sounds like a very typical mum, honestly.

So, was there a double meaning intended?
What school boy doesn’t have a perverted mind…that’s a question my mum would ask us.

Yeah, pretty sure. You’re still the prick with the accent. Alihan grinned lazily, glancing over at him with his eyebrows raised. Alihan Bayar, nice to meet you officially.

Taking the cigarette, Pierce took a puff as he sighed out the smoke, squinting up at the sky.
More ‘r less, fine. I saw y’ at th’ party, right?

Well then I’ve got a perverted mind, and I’m okay with it.

And what if o double meaning was intended?

I can see why, honestly.

Very true, the rat would be in trouble real quick.
My head is killing me..
I usually get ‘bunny.’

Why would I do something like that? That’s just cruel to both you and the rat.

You put it out there, all I did was pick it up.

Do I sense a double meaning?

I’m sure a good plowing does have its benefits.

I couldn’t do it. All the tap dancing and egg shell walking. Sometimes it’s nice just to…plow through.

‘Course it does, but that’s the point, isn’t it? Simplicity just.. doesn’t do it for me.

But doesn’t the complexity of them sometimes tire you out? Some times simplicity is key.

You’re just.. like a puppy. Hard to dislike, and easy to like. I’m not going to poison you unless you put a rat in my bed.

My head is killing me..
You’re awfully nice to someone who made you go around a castle to look for a rat. You’re not going to try to poison me, right?

I don’t know, sometimes men can be complex too. That appeals to me, in all honesty. If they’re not complicated, I get bored.
Mmmm. Nah.

Women are vexing. Complex and hard to get. Easier to stick with the men.

I usually agree with that, but once in a while, a woman’ll just blow my mind.

Eh. Women.

I’ve always preferred the sound of a man’s voice.
