There is a building near the metro station with a very strange architecture. There wasn't much time to draw it, but I refined some details at home.

The Moscow Engineering Physics Institute dormitory. Many international students live there. When I pass by it, I always feel sad that my uni didn't have such an ethnic diversity - I could have made so many friends from all over the world! But now I'm learning languages and using the internet😉

Taking A6 format and oil pastels for a scene with lots of detail, and then thinking how to depict it so it doesn't turn out to be a mess - classic!😁

Tried out a new sketchbook. Not everything I'm happy with in this drawing, but at least I commend myself on the size: this is the first time I've drawn with ink on A5 format.

I've been drawing on the run and in monochrome a lot lately. Yesterday I took advantage of a free evening to go through my stock of coloured pencils🙌

I love this view, but there are usually people here. Today was a lucky day. Except I was cold in the shade while I was drawing.

I was drawing a corner of a house, not bothering anyone. A lady was passing by and started asking all sorts of questions.... Why do people like to pry into other people's lives so unceremoniously? I finished as soon as possible and rushed off to do my business. And the lady stayed there, she doesn't run that fast. 1-0 in my favour!😁

For a long time I wanted to draw outside with pastel pencils. Today I got my hands on them. I really liked it, I'll have to do it again. It's a pity that you can't carry the whole box of 60 colours. Or rather, you can, but you'll get tired quickly😄 Ah, it's good to have summer still to come!

Another watercolour pencil miniature from nature. At this time two tiny red spiders and one green aphid took turns crawling on me😁

Had to photograph the second drawing at home, because the camera didn't really understand what to do with the colours in such bright sunshine. The same flowerbed as yesterday, just a slightly different angle. In the middle of the process came a man with a mobile phone - well, his own fault😁

Continuing to accustom myself to wet techniques outdoors. Today I took my water-soluble graphite pencils with me. Even though it was a monochrome drawing, it still took a long time without getting used to it. Good thing this paper dries quickly.

I was going to draw a flowerbed, but a dozing motionless lady got in my sight. While I was drawing, the lady woke up and left. She was lucky, by the way, that it was not autumn, because in autumn pears fall merrily from that tree😁
