What if we all stopped pretending? What if we took off the masks and were completely uncovered and seen for who we really are? Who are we fooling anyways? God sees it. We feel it. And what isn't revealed does not get healed. There's plenty of good information in the world, especially when it comes to health and fitness. The publishing world, the media world and all that buzzes and whirls is in need of that good information in order to keep the lights on and pay the bills. We must never forget where all good knowledge comes from and where it is meant to lead us. Knowledge (good information) is meant to lead us to an encounter with God. It's the encounter with the living God that changes people's lives and appetites. Not just more information. So go ahead.....read up, learn about the latest food science/nutrition information, brain and body understanding, eating right for your blood type, hormones, supplements and all that good stuff but may it lead you to encounter the living God. May it lead you to know more about his great love for us and how we were made and who we are, in Him. And may it set your heart on a mission to let others know this same great love. Don't let information overload you and overshadow your King. You are not a project in the woodshed. You are a purveyor of hope and messenger of love in the Kingdom of God. #lesshustlemorelove

Have you ever noticed that you have to look DOWN, if you want to focus on your body -- be it to celebrate it OR to criticize it? While gratitude is good, one thing God never meant for us to do with our bodies, is "look down on" what He created and declared GOOD. So if you're tempted today, instead of putting yourself down, will you decide instead to lift HIM up, in praise for how He's designed you and is transforming you through #lesshustlemorelove? Grace is the pure power of God to do for humanity what it can not do for itself; the ability to live upright and pure before a holy God while keeping the imperfect and fallen heart from becoming downcast and depressed over his/her inability to get it right.
