rewatching haikyuu s3e9. when i first heard the "ikkei" and "ippon" being shouted off-screen at the start of the episode, i really thought i was hearing something my grandaunt was watching in the living room. but no! it was just some good sound mixing

from the little that i heard, tsukishima also sounds very similar to original tsukishima. i did have to give it a bit of thought because koki uchiyama's voice isn't AS distinct as ayumu murase's. but i feel like i'm pretty good at identifying if a character is voiced by koki uchiyama—when the personality is more of the cold type. i couldn't guess that shindo from run with the wind was voiced by him. shindo is a calmly cheerful guy

i just tried listening a little to the mandarin dub of haikyuu and hinata's voice actor sounds incredibly similar to the original hinata. i'm impressed
