Thinking for a while, I just love how in Hetalia and historically, Estonia is portrayed as someone who is smart and calculating. Historically, this nation went from someone, who was always stepped on(Russia, German nobility, Sweden, PLC) to a nation who leads other Baltics in development. Even tho geopolitically, Lithuania leads the Baltics due to size and having more influence, but in terms of development, Estonia takes the wheel. I really wish for Hima to explore his character and his past more.

After watching Google Doodle of Route 66, I was left thinking if in Hetalia Lithuania has made a road trip through this road with America since many Lithuanians live in Chicago ( This town is known as Little Lithuania among Lithuanians) and this road begins in Chicago. At least it would be nice to imagine about that.

I would like to post some old canon Hetalia stuff just to show how Estonia is at his happiest with the Baltics. Ffs Hima, why you include Russia when it comes to Baltics being happy fellas?? I get it that Russian propaganda channels are pestering the Baltics, but hey, at least NATO aka the US with his partners are keeping Russia on the leash from attacking the Baltics.

After reading Estonia's collezione, I was thinking about how Latvia's and Lithuania's would look like and how controversial it could get. Himaruya, there is a tip to you with Lithuanian- Samogitian background: Latvia is a brother and should be treated like a pearl in a palm and this nation is concidered as the friendlest nation in Lithuania, Poland in modern terms is a strategic partner and a friend/ex-husband. In Polish-Lithuanian relations, there is still a small crack ( Polish- Lithuanian war, Vilnius debackle), but only nationalists are fighting between each other. Belarus is well... Belarus and Lithuania 100% shouldn't be obsessed with her. Russia and Lithuania are eternal enemies. Estonia is best friend that despite rivalry, we sit at the same table to get some drinks. Here is a mini lesson to you, Himaruya and hope you don't fuck this up. Peace everyone, I am out.

What I wish to see in Hetalia manga:

NB 8( Nordic+ Baltic 8). When Baltic nations regained independance in 1990s, Nordics helped the Baltic states a lot so we could join EU and NATO. I really can't wait to see Denmark and Lithuania's interaction since Lithuania's and Denmark's relations are very great and there is tons of history behind DenLiet, plus this won't be a crack ship anymore. Here is a link to Denmark-Lithuania relations(use google translate since this is in Lithuanian, but it has lot's of information behind it. I will create a post about it with academic info about it). Baltics and Sweden as well since Sweden is like one of main trading partners. Glad to see Finland interacting with Estonia, wish he could interact with other Baltics as well. Iceland interacting with Baltics would be great since Iceland is MVP for being 1st country to recognize independance of the Baltics. As for Himaruya, remember to drop Estonia's "I want to become Nordic" and "cross flag" stereotypes since this isn't funny and is very offensive to Estonians, who know history between other Baltics very well. Nordic and Cross flag stereotypes/jokes to Estonians are like what Wilno Nashe is to Lithuanians, very offensive.

Belarus being mad at Lithuania. Concidering what is happening IRL with these countries, I think Belarus would be toxic af towards Lith and blaming him over the stuff he didn't do. Regarding this, you can read articles on news since it's wide topic in Europe and Luka being crazy on national TV all the time. Maybe Belarus would be living in Russia's house since she "wants to marry" him desperately and she did by becoming sattelite IRL.

Visegrad group. It would be nice to see Poland, Hungary, Czech republic, Slovakia interacting with each other and solving issues.

The EU meeting. The moment when members of the EU come together to discuss EU issues.

America visiting the Baltic houses. This might do a lot of fan service to AmeLiet/AmeLat/AmeEst ships, but it would be nice to see how the Baltics are doing in America's eyes concidering Lithuania working in America's house during "Lithuania's Outsourcing" strip and "Storage cleaning" anime episode. It would be a nice homage to this as well. Maybe America's reaction to Russia's "unfriendly countries" list would be great to see as well. Since I am sure NATO Baltic Air Policing mission exists and America is one of countries who helps the other Baltics to patrol their Air space.

Ukraine and Georgia(Sakartvelo character introduction) and how they are doing.

Taiwan interacting with America, Germany, Japan and Lithuania. Concidering what is happening with Taiwan, I think Taiwan would be interacting a lot with these countries. I am honestly smiling that my country Lithuania decided to open representitive office with name "Taiwan" instead Taipei and seeing how Taiwanese people are thanking Lithuania for donating vacinnes, my heart just melted.

I want to note that I am Lithuanian and I am a Nursing student in Kaunas (I was born in Šiauliai, but studying in Kaunas). Even tho I like medicine, but I like history too (History has carried my ass during Pharmacy presentation). So in this blog, I would be not just criticising Himaruya's lack of knowledge about Baltics and it's people, but present history behind Lithuanian x any ship.

Have you seen Forest brothers and how many Lithuanians were participating in that? When it comes to "rebelious" districts in the Russian Empire and the USSR, Lithuania was the most rebelious out of the Baltics. Heck even Sniečkus refused to listen to several Moscow orders, demanded priviledges to Lithuanian SSR. I know that there is a joke among Estonians that Lithuanians are directors. In Lithuanian schools, children are being taught that Latvians and Estonians are our Baltic brothers (not as Balts, but as the Baltic States).

If someone is coming after Latvia and Estonia, then get ready to get beaten up by Lithuanians. To be honest, Himaruya doesn't know shit about The Baltics and people.

Edit: I've been editing a lot since there are so many stuff to say and tell about it, but there is one fact and that is Himaruya's lazy journalism creates wrong picture of people.

Thinking about how at times Hetalia Lithuania seems to get depicted as this very easy to push over person and can I just say how absolutely not okay I am with that?

Like, BUDDY, have you seen Lithuanians? Lithuanians take shit from no one, they firmly like any Baltics stand with what they believe in and are ready to face the largest of threats if it means protecting what is precious to them.

Lithuania especially cares about the Baltic bond the most, have you seen how they legit raise Estonia's and Latvia's flag too (playing their anthems aswell) on LITHUANIA'S DAY OF INDEPENDENCE? I cried when I found out and watched it.

Lithuania is absolutely the leader of the Baltic three, leading the cooperation and what they do together, and as leader Lithuania is also very protective of the Baltics. For real I feel like if anyone dared to actually threaten or attempt to harm them that Lithuania would just tear them to shreds -

Uhhh, there are relations between Danes and Lithuanians dating back to 9th Century when Vikings were organising crusades against Balts and one of those is siege of Apuolė (Even tho this fortress belongs to Curonians, but this land is part of Lithuania, Samogitia specifically these days). Back in 13th Century, one of countries who paid tribute to Danish crown was Lithuania (Littonia). There is more to the story, but one Danish explorer wrote a book about Lithuanians as a nation who is rising up during Russian Empire days. This helped to introduce Lithuania to world arena and served as one of pillars to Lithuanian national identity.

You ever suggest a ship as a joke and then you're sitting around like "Oh no."? Mine is DenLiet. I joked about Denmark and Lithuania and then I started thinking. Denmark's head is empty and his heart is full. Lithuania is bright and his heart is so broken. And then I was on wiki looking up Lithuanian-Denmark relations. And now I'm sitting here on a fucking pool noodle in the ocean.

Huh, that sounds interesting. Personality wise, I think it might work similar to Ameliet since Denmark and America share a lot of similarities. Their relations do look pretty good in the modern day, though Wikipedia doesn’t talk about anything before 1990. I don’t remember them ever interacting in canon, but that hasn’t stopped ships in this fandom before. If they did interact even a little in the future, Denliet could gain a lot more traction
