Lovelock, USA. Archaeologists have just discovered that the myth of the Paiute Indians of the “giants who ate men” could be based on a certain reality.
Tumblr media
The Paiutes, a group of Native American Indians who inhabited the regions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona, told the first white immigrants that their ancestors had to fight in the past against ferocious white giants and with red hair who lived in the same territories. The Paiute called these giants Si-Te-Cah which means "tule eaters". Tule is a fibrous aquatic plant that the giants harvested from the rafts they used to travel on the rivers and mainly on Lake Lahontan.
