Faith - a little bit goes a long way
4K posts
God is so amazing to me. Every day Hebrews 11 becomes more and more real to me. Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, and Rahab taught me to step out on faith! A mustard seed of faith is sometimes all it takes.

Want to get closer to Jesus? These habits might help:
-Read your Bible and pray more (getting the obvious out of the way)
-Start each day with prayer rather than your phone
-Write down what Jesus has blessed you with, practice gratitude
-Try to speak words of grace, rather than condemnation
-Be quick to forgive, never hold a grudge
-Go out in nature and spend time with God in his creation
-Make alone time with you and God. No phone, tv, friends, family, etc, just you and him
-Ask him to reveal himself to you through his word
-Volunteer to help the poor
-Give without expecting anything in return
-Think of how your actions effect others
-Get rid of accursed objects that are in your home (“healing” crystals, ouija boards, pentagrams, etc.)
-Join a church
-Ask the Holy Spirit to live and love through you
-Meditate on Scripture. Read it over and over again, and think about what God is trying to communicate through his word
Remember, this is a process. Nobody can bring all of this into their lives in just one day, which is why it’s called a walk with God.
Let him mold you into his image one day at time, holding his hand the entire way, and trusting that he knows where he’s leading you.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

When we live for “me, myself and I” and make it about our little family and circle of friends, life becomes meaningless. But when we reach out in Jesus’ name to those in need and their families and their children, to those who may be lonely; to someone who may be in the hospital, to a brother or sister who may be grieving the loss of a loved one; we find fulfillment and abundant life. Why? Because that’s the heart of God, and we are never more like Him than when our hearts go out.
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:16‬ ‭

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Thus says the LORD—
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
‭‭— Isaiah‬ ‭43:18-19‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

‘Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act.’
— Psalm 37:7 (NLT)
- Sometimes we are called upon to be patient and to wait for God to act.
- How desperately we would like to see Him act now, and turn things around.
- However, we often find ourselves in a process that we have to walk through.
- So let us take God at His Word and know that in His time, it will happen.
PRAYER:
Lord, I am so often in a hurry to see the breakthrough. I ask that You would help me to be patient as I trust in You. Your timing is always impeccable and so I will not be discouraged but I will hold onto You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
