Words for different kinds of religious beliefs (or lack thereof)
Atheism - Disbelief that one or more gods exist now or existed in the past.
Theism - Belief in one or more deities. There are several subdivisions of theism based on what kind of god(s) a person believes in.
Autotheism - Belief that divinity, whether also external or not, is inherently within ‘oneself’ and that one has the ability to become godlike.
Deism - Belief that god(s) exist (or have existed in the past), but that they do not take part in our lives.
Ditheism - Belief that only two deities exist and that they are equal in power/importance.
Dystheism - Belief that a deity is not wholly good, and is possibly evil.
Eutheism - Belief that a deity is wholly benevolent.
Henotheism - Belief that there is (or may be) more than one god, but only one is the supreme.
Kathenotheism - Belief that there is more than one deity, but only one at a time should be worshipped. Each is supreme in turn.
Maltheism - Belief that a deity exists, but is wholly malicious.
Misotheism - Active hatred for a god or gods.
Monotheism - Belief that only one deity exists.
Pandeism - Belief that a god preceded the universe and created it, but is now equivalent with it.
Panentheism - Belief that god and the universe are the same and that the divine is in everything.
Pantheism - Belief that god(s) and the universe are the same.
Polydeism - Belief that multiple gods exist/have existed, but do not intervene in the universe.
Polytheism - Belief that many deities exist.

I'm not like Mad at anyone who does this and I'm obviously not in charge of how anyone else tags shit on their own blogs, whatever, but it's always bummed me out when my sex Ed posts get reblogged and tagged with 18+, minors dni, etc. personally I actually very much want teenagers to learn about their bodies and safer sex but I guess I'm just the guy who wrote the thing.

Never thought I’d say “we used to be a proper country” while specifically thinking of that summer that Jack Parsons (founder of the Jet Propulsion Lab and inventor of solid rocket fuel) and L Ron Hubbard (you know who that is) spent reciting satanic incantations and jacking each other off, only to end when Hubbard ran off with Parson’s girlfriend and all of JPL’s money.
But, when pondering the rumor that Elon Musk is making a cuckhold of Stephen Miller, I cannot forget that Jack Parsons made rockets that worked.

“Bamboo is antifungal”
Because it’s rayon
“Eucalyptus fabric is cooling!”
Yeah, because it’s rayon
“We make clothing called seacell out of seaweed!”
Yeah I looked on your website it’s made by the lyocell process, which means-
-wait for it-
It’s fucking rayon!!
Listen. There is a list of actual plant fibers that are directly made into fabric: cotton, linen, ramie, some hemp. I’m sure I’m missing a couple.
But if you’re wondering “huh how did they turn that plant material into fabric,” 99% of the time? It’s RAYON.
All rayon is made by putting plant material in chemical soup, dissolving out everything but the cellulose, and turning the cellulose into filaments/fibers.
The source of the cellulose has zero effect on the eventual fabric.
Rayon made from bamboo or eucalyptus or seaweed is not any better than rayon from any other sources.
Don’t let companies mislead you!

This really ought to top every, “Best Opening Lines,” list. The 21st century reading public is sleeping on Dorothy L Sayers.
