App Build Up Continuation

We are currently finishing all the configurations of our DropBy app and we are nearing its due completion.

For having this final touches to our configuration using android studio, we are build more and putting up minor touch ups and designs to beautify our app.

From this, the Android Studio has more capabilities in building our app, through this we can design and put up more features to our DropBy App.

and we can finally fininsh our app the DropBy

App Making

We are curently making the app for the DropBy, and currently also in the verge of finishing it as soon as possible.

We are trying hard and finding proper ways to make the app run smoothly and efficiently.

The login functions of our app is user-friendly and anyone can register in that platform.

and through the login section there you will see the register page if you’re either a buyer or a seller.

and from there you can have the option of buying and selling stuff through the use of our app.

Update: App Making

In this past few weeks, We are making an app for our project the DropBy.

And as of now, we are currently pushing through to the deadline and the final date of the exam.

Techno Update

The Finals is fast approaching and the game is on!.

So this week, we have gone through numerous customer validation!, and all those validations it coincides with our Business Model Canvass (BMC) and it took a while to have this conclusive evidence that supports our BMC from the very beginning but it was worth it.

DropBy is soon to be complete! and all you folks out there who does online shopping and selling be aware of our app because its gonna be a storm!. 

and it will take part in the new business SOON!

Calculations

In this week of our Technoprenuership, we calculate all the possible variables that are needed to sell our product to all customers and the sellers.

We validated much more than before and we assumed that its on mindanao to mindanao transactions ONLY and soon maybe be the grace of God, we will scale it up nationwide, just like streetby, lazada, and the like.

to furthermore, we  device a plan for the payment flow for the system how our clients will settle their transactions. we are nearing our completion of our Techno project.

Channels

Our System the Dropby is a virtual product using an indirect channel, we discussed how to make money out of it and to furthermore our study about our app to build 

Sir BGM told us a lot more about how to advertise our system to the general public and how we can implement it for future use.

we can either advertise our app to the social media, where people such as entrepreneurs and the aspiring technopreneurs.

So we did an interview with various potential customers that will somehow buy or use our app, and also ask if they are willing to pay in our app.

Task to Do.

What are the PAINS, GAINS and JOBS to be done?

·         Draw the diagram of a customer workflow

·         Draw your customer/user persona

·         How do they solve these problem(s) today? Does your value proposition              solve it?

·         What is it that made the customers interested? Excited?

·         Who is the decision maker, how much money they can spend, how buying decision is made?

We brainstormed this questions on what to answer and what are the possible outcomes to further our study in our Technoprenuership.

Proceed or Pivot?

We somewhat made a decision to either proceed with our proposal or to pivot and to change our proposal.

and I’m currently searching for more ideas to our proposals and to backup all of the Q.A.’s that they will fire at us.

and to have a solid idea of the problem stated and to have a solid background of the idea proposed.

Pitching Practice:

We practiced on our pitching this monday on technoprenuer, and we have minor problems along the way, but overall we had a blast of information that can help in the said pitching event.

I’ve done pitching before from the pitching competition on the USTP gymnasium 2016 and it was a well rounded experience to have.

after all, based on own experience I will do the pitching this monday, and a MOCK defense on the later.

Thesis Documentation: Interview

So we interviewed a bunch of people from divisoria, and we hand them pamphlets about how our app works and it’s benefits to the community and it’s impact too. 

Most of them were impressed by our proposal and some of them even want to use it someday.

and we got the results that we wanted and will build the app soon.

Validation:

So we’ve validated some clients about our app for technoprenuership.

we’ve ask them questions pertaining about our app. the Drop buy.

and we have a separate task of interviewing customers for validation and how to ease their shipping details and everything related to it.

I ask most of them in the facebook app about it, and they replied with enthusiasm and doubts. 

some of them gave us knowledge on how to have a better understanding on the app and customer approval too, if they are willing to use the app.

some of them doubt it, they ask us how can we implement this and that to the system and them some.

we have some ideas on how to implement it, so we are currently learning the fundamentals on how to build an app for it.

MVP: The Making

Today, we started making an MVP for our technoprenuer and we are currently gathering some ideas on how to build an app for it.

As we are studying how to build this app, I stumbled upon a site where you can build android app fast with minimal coding, and this is app.inventor, developed by MIT and I was trying to build my first app out of it. 

so then I figured out some of the how to’s of it and will make an app soon for the MVP.

so for the time being I’ll be studying this new site, and will build an app soon.

Interview: City Hall, CLENRO

After we made a letter to the mayor to make an interview at CLENRO office, a office of the government that manage garbage collection.

We, Mabaylan and I, went to City hall to conduct an interview, 

First we went to the city administrator to let us take an interview to the CLENRO office, after some time, they let us conduct it.

and then we went to CLENRO office where we ask questions like, the garbage collection dates, the city ordinance, and so on and fourth.

then we introduced our concept “thesis” paper, pertaining about the garbage collection tech.

The Smart Waste Disposal Bin, where it’ll update you on what’s happening to your trash bin and it sends you data about when to collect.

and then they gave us some papers about our interview, like the schedules of garbage collections, and the city ordinance.

Presentation of Revised Idea:

Monday, 16th of July, 2018

We presented our ideas and ask for further clarifications from it.

we’ve ask Ma’am McKurkle and Sir Mabulay in our current studies.

First we went to Sir Mabulay for our idea called “Shipping Hub” and we also need clarifications of our idea and also a helping thought, and we received it helping us to move forward in our next task to do.

Then we’ve ask Ma’am McKurkle and she accepted our ideas on the IOT Smart Waste Bin, and gave us an idea on how to implement our idea on our thesis project.

After that we made a plan on going to City hall for further help on our thesis proposal.

so the foregoing thought that we are currently facing are the questions and the proposals.

Submission:

We submitted our ideas and backup plans for the said ideation and thesis.

We presented an idea that can help the garbage disposal and retrieval of the rural areas around Cagayan de Oro, to lessen the labor and help the environment.

Ma’am told us some possible outcomes and solutions to the evergrowing problem of the land waste.

and 

we successfully got a “Yes” from Ma’am McKurkle and  help to implement this project soon.
