32 Lot-Adjusted Empty Lots - Sunnyside and Mini Lots

Have you always wanted to build on small 1X1 lots? Or have a smaller sized beach lot for your surfer shack? Well, now you can! I have done all the Lot-Adjusting work for you. 😉

These lots were made with the UC installed. If you don't have all the EPs/SPs (or at least AL/M&G as your highest one,) you prolly can't use these! (I provided links below, for similar "empty lot" collections - some of them don't need all EP/SPs.)

ALL possible lot sizes are included (within the game's original size limit of 6X6) - including Beach lots.

These are perfectly flat lots (well, all except for the beach lots...)

These were made on Lush Terrain, but that doesn't really matter anymore. Whatever terrain you put them down on (Desert, Dirt, Lush, or Cement) the game will change the lot's "base terrain" to match.

The Sun is oriented to the front of the lot.

Lots are shrunk/expanded with Moo's Lot-Adjuster

Lots are cleaned/compressed with Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor.

New easy-to-read Thumbnails made by me.

The lots can be found at the END of your LotBin catalog.

There is No CC used in these empty lots.

To INSTALL: Unzip the "New Empty Lots" folder. Open it and move (or copy/paste) the 32 files into your LotCatalog (Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\LotCatalog). Find the lots by scrolling to the end of your Lot Bin the next time you are in your Neighborhood.

To make them PERMANENT - so they are in your catalog whenever you start a new game - put them here: (These paths are for the UC - your path may be different) - If you want them toward the end of your LotBin, put them in the base game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\UserData\LotCatalog - If you put them at the beginning of your LotBin, put them in your highest EP folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\UserData\LotCatalog

Hi! I adore your lighting mod and I was wondering... Is there a version of that/shader fixes that keeps the snow blue? I've been trying to use every possible combination of shader mods and I can't find a way to maintain blue snow.

Okay so I went in to answer this question but this would end up being a masterlist instead. You can use the individual mods on this list if you want the other fixes without the blue snow.

If you want to change the hood and lot water, @an-elegant-simblr‘s Water Overhaul or Niol's Water Mod

Shader Mods by @crispsandkerosene: SimStandardMaterial Shader Mod (I personally use the Brighter Sims version), Standard Material Shader Mod (conflicts with the Overly Bright CAS fix and my own shader fixes for it so they also have versions with both lazyduchess's fix and also combined with my no blue snow version)

How to Create an Invisible Pool

I use Cinema Secrets which can integrate Voeille's water mod. Of course, when you load up a lot that has water, it turns black and you need to place down a pool. However, it looks pretty tacky to have a random 1x1 pool, even if you try to cover it up with bushes and flowers.

I found a fix written out by MTS user damondamore that explains a very simple process on how to make an extra pool option in Build Mode that is invisible !

Add the below to .\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Apartment Life\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts\deckfoundations.txt (or whichever deckfoundations.txt goes with your latest EP-- I have the Ultimate Collection and use the file up there) manually even if you have the Scriptorium-- there's some quirk with pools/decks in it.

You will have an extra pool that will appear in pools with the OFB deck icon... but really it's an invisible pool. And, yes, sims can swim in it with ladders and diving boards too.

And now, you can see at the top that there is indeed an invisible 1x1 pool with a ladder attached to it, and you can also see that the water shader and reflections are properly loaded in !

Hey sim 2 players there has been news that vegan-kaktus's uploads have also been compromised i know thats a sims 2 archive thats trying to preserve S2 cc from being lost

Can anyone confirm that vegan-kaktus has also been compromised? Do they have .exe or .bat file extensions do they have zips that get flagged when downloading?

As always be safe while checking have your anti Virus running while doing so.

Uploads appear to be back online, but I tried to update a handful of my files and the site didn't quite register the updates correctly. So, uh... hang tight? (Nothing's broken. I just bolted awake and added a couple of things to a couple of lots.)

PSA: SFS

Apparently some people's SFS accounts have been hijacked. Mine's all clear at the moment, but uploads have been temporarily disabled.

For the next little while until this gets sorted, don't download any .exe or .bat files from SFS, unfortunately including Sims2RPC, and take a good long virus scan of any unfamiliar .rars and .zips. (But you were already doing that anyways, right?)
