Today is the 26th birthday of someone I love, and for her gift she's asked me to make a post asking for help.

R lives in small-town Michigan with her 8yo child and works as a page at a local library. Her hours (and those of all her fellow pages) were recently cut to a level that is unsustainable even for her few expenses.

R has been looking for new work, and she's still working at the library at those reduced hours.

However, now her car is broken. The worker who towed it home after it died on the road, said it's likely the alternator.

This is an expensive problem, and in the meantime R still needs to get to work and to transport her kid for split parenting time with the kid's father.

I'm very concerned about what may happen if she can't get to work and pay rent.

She's posted this gfm on her own socials, and 3 people in her circles have been able to contribute, but she's a private person with a quiet life and her odds aren't great for raising much. She has no living parents and her remaining family members are living in poverty.

I know there are a lot of people in worse situations who need our support right now, but please consider also helping R out with even a few dollars.

I've known R since the day after she was born, and she would not ask for help like this unless she absolutely had to. She has a job interview this week that she really needs to get to, also.

After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter or source of income. We have used up all our savings during the war. I know I created my campaign very late, but that's because I have no other means to help my family 🙏. I am completely confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these tough circumstances 😔.

I know how painful and frustrating it is to start over from scratch, but I hope to get any amount for my family 🥺🙏.

In the age of shiny screens and smart towers, children in Gaza are dying minutes away from 5G networks. They didn't die from a bomb, but from starvation. And worse? Their deaths weren't sudden. They took their time, day after day, atrophy after atrophy, until they disappeared, leaving only their bodies resembling life, but not living.

Where was humanity?

Where were the governments and organizations? Where are you? You who watch and grieve for a few minutes, then pass the image along like an advertisement. You who have food, medicine, and even the internet to cry out... but you remain silent.

Why are my children in Gaza dying of starvation? Not because the world is powerless, but because it chose not to see.

What is happening is an indictment of a world that has made humanity a choice, not an innate quality. An indictment of everyone who remained silent, everyone who saw and remained silent, everyone who liked the image without moving.

We don't need images that shake us... we need hearts that don't remain silent. Please share our post, my friends, maybe you can change this bitter reality and donate to us what you can. The perfect Izutsumi cosplay doesn't exis-

Early this year I made a quick kitty-sized Izutsumi cosplay to match the Laios cosplay I made last summer. With hand modeling by @soul-of-sin who owns this cat and also is one of my BFFs!

Personality-wise, this kitty is actually very much like Izu; she's picky, especially about who she trusts, and takes a while to warm up. She dislikes being picked up, except by people she really loves. The photo of her on my shoulder is the end result of three years living with her!

Most photos and all edits by me. I handed my camera to a friend to get the photo with me in it.

A fine and important Elsa Schiaparelli couture Zodiac jacket, the Astrology Collection, Winter, 1938-39, Paris. This is arguably one of the most beautiful of all Schiaparelli's creations with its glittering embroidery, shimmering star-shaped beads and rhinestones set against a midnight blue velvet background. Marlene Dietrich was photographed in her Beverly Hills residence in 1938 wearing the zodiac ensemble with matching dress. Schiap was fascinated by the night sky that she used to view as a child through her uncle's telescope - the renowned astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli, director of the Brera Observatory in Milan. He inspired in her a lifelong fascination with the celestial realm. He commented that the moles on her cheeks reminded him of the Big Dipper which she adopted as her 'lucky star', incorporating it into printed fabrics, the fabric lining her salon, her own personal jewellery as well as on this magnificent jacket. Hi hello yes my name is Ash! I am a disabled trans man living in the american south and my BIRTHDAY IS THIS MONTH.

Our household consists of two disabled trans people, two cats and a dog. We lost our car recently and recently got catastrophically set back on our grocery supplies because i had a month of ebt benefits stolen and we havent really recovered. Our water is constantly on the verge of being shut off and as it stands we are LATE ON RENT.

I dont know how much we need yet to make back rent, but im leaving this post open all month. Roomie has an hrt appointment this month thats gonna be at least $250 not to mention whatever a dosage increase and a 3 month supply of titty skittles is gonna cost. The water bill is about $100. The internet (which auto withdrawls) is $70.

Idk im just trying to make sure i have like. Bare necessities on my birthday like a roof over my head and a toilet that flushes and maybe if im lucky a cake for the first time in years. Maybe.
