So after the first episode I just want to say that it is CRIMINAL what they're doing to the Gini storyline. Not only they skip a whole year of their relationship and the arrest thing but they are going to possibly break them up because of Nat and the kids??!! It doesn't make any sense!

How was this not an issue for a whole a year but suddenly it is? From what we have seen before they talk about their problems with eachother and I just don't see how Dani has never brought this up earlier.

And on top of that we get a bunch of fucking Finley and Sophie scenes. Like i'm sorry but who cares??

Y’all I don’t know if I can fucking watch this season. I rewatched the trailer bc that first episode was shit and the episode two trailer and I genuinely do not know if I have it in me to sit thru and watch these characters get destroyed. It’s like riverdale — maybe I need to quit while I’m ahead. Watched up until Jughead got transferred to Southside and as soon as he became obsessed w the serpents after defying them for so long I was like 😎✌🏼

But y’all should watch Amazon Prime’s A League of Their Own. Fuck Big Daddy J Bezos but the show has well-written characters and the plot line and development is actually thought out. It’s clear there’s a blueprint they wanted to follow and they executed it so well. Anyone who watches the show should follow my ALOTO account @all-things-aloto for my random ramblings and shit.

1. What the fuck happened with Dani’s arrest ?!

2. I understand why Gigi wants to ask Nat first. I mean, her kids will then be staying over at not Gigi’s, but Dani’s place. And she’s probably worried about what happened with Alice and doesn’t want to expose them to that again. But like .. I swear to god if they break them up I’m going to. … probably keep watching because I’ll want to know.

3. So Micah was just gonna propose and he clearly did no marriage talk with Maribel before ?! Like he just ambushed her with that, and I think that that’s such bullshit. He’s going to resent her for that (some future argument of like “I proposed and you said no”). And also clearly he’s already boiling some of that shit, did you see his whole “I didn’t say yes to the baby” ?! Drama mama.

4. Angie and Jordie breaking up made sense tbh. They’re on a new chapter so like, I respect Jordie for ending it. They do gotta do college separately man. They gotta figure their shit out.

5. God. I. Am. So. Fucking. Done. With. Bette. And. Tina. Like for real. I can’t deal w this whiplash anymore. Bette seems to have gotten genuinely better but like. I literally just don’t want to ride out on some fucking hope that Bette is going to be better for Tina and Tina is going to be better for Bette. They were toxic, and season 2 they still were, but they can grow. Which, I fucking hope they don’t do a relationship exchange where they’re like okie happy cute Gini from S2 can’t exist bc happy cute Tibette has to exist.

6. Alice and Tom ?! Guess we’re gonna see them in the next episode but like. What. The. Fuck.

7. We really got an in-depth look at Alice and Teddy having sex. I could’ve done without it.

8. The trailer at the end? The car crash? Bro. If they kill Gigi bc Sepideh Moafi had other obligations I’ll cry. Just like … make her go on some trip or something ?! I KNOOOW production probably ended after the conflict in Iran started but imagine having Gigi be like I gotta fight this fight man. Also just bringing awareness to Iran. It’s a fucked up thing that western media isn’t covering.

9. Sophie hooking up w someone while Finley was in rehab is honestly her MO. She cheated on an unknown girlfriend with Dani, then cheated on Dani with Finley, so not surprised there. I will say, in her defense, depending on what rules were established in their break, then she had every right to hook up with other people. From what Micah and Sophie said, it sounds like it was just a break in the we’re-still-dating-but-just-pause type of break, not one where you can fuck around w other people. But. If she and Finley put boundaries in place to not hook up with other people and then Sophie still did, that’s fucked. But if they were like, it’s a break, go be happy bc who knows what’ll happen but I still love you, then that’s kinda a soft breakup in that Sophie wasn’t wrong for hooking up with someone.

Dude I have more. I have so so so much more but I just. Cannot process.
