Fuckass Rhaegar AU: the royal Family tree

Rhaegar is the king. He’s a good one, but he has made a lot of mistakes. One of them is having a shit ton of bastards. instability follows him wherever he goes and his family is a mess. They are divided on who should be the next king and usurpers are everywhere. Chaos follows him wherever he goes, and the line succession has been muddied too much. Rhaegar has an incredibly complicated relationship with his family that straddles between indifference, love, and hate. 

Elia is the queen. Veils have become a part court wear dress. This is something that she started with her mother-in-law, Rhaella. She has an incredibly complicated relationship with her husband straddling between love and hate. She does everything to protect her family and they do everything to protect her.

Aegon is the heir. But Usurpers are everywhere. His father has destabilized his claim. He cares for his father, but he cannot stand what he did to his family and he still hasn’t forgiven him for the chaos he caused.

Rhaenys is the favorite child of her father. He still calls her his little dragon. After the chaos he caused, they have a tumultuous relationship. She spend a lot of her time with the women in her family. Daenerys, Rhaella and Elia are all she had for the longest time. There are actually some dragons alive and she is one of the Targaryen that rides one. Daenerys and her love to fly on dragon back together. She wears a veil just like her mothers and grandmother as she looks up to them a lot. 

Rhaella has taken to live in driftmark. She prepares her daughter to become the lady of driftmark. She is an incredibly close relationship with her daughter and her daughter-in-law. She loves Rhaenys and Aegon deeply, but she’s also incredibly disappointed in her two dumbass sons. She lives a nice quiet life away from court but she will return if needed. She wears a veil, even if she’s not at court. The ones that she wears the most were all gifts from Elia and she cherishes them the most.

Daenerys is still Azor Ahai in the universe. Her brother wasted everybody’s time and she is also one of the few Targaryens to ride dragon. She is actually the first Targaryen in a long while to hatch her dragon. She loves to ride with Rhaenys. She’s incredibly close to her mother, and she has never been that far away from her. She a veil like her like the women in her family, and her favorite one was given to her by Elia. Daenerys is either flying on her dragon or next to her mother. She live at driftmark preparing to become its lady and she has a loving relationship with her betrothed.



Viserys is married to Arianne. When he saw her, he became completely obsessed with her and begged his brother to marry. He is so down bad that it’s actually embarrassing to see. He lives with her and he’s the ultimate malewife.

Visenya is the youngest of our siblings, including the bastards. She’s just a toddler and has no idea what’s going on. She does wear a veil. She worships the ground that Rhaenys and Daenerys walks on and she wants to be just like them. Rhaenys and Daenerys do sometimes take her on dragon riding. She’s a sweet child, but she has no idea what’s going on.

It’s long day of doing bullshit like this.

Rhaegar in his Aegon the 4th era or Fuckass Rhaegar

His legitimized bastard sons

Jaehaerys is the first legitimized bastard son, and he later adopts the name Jon. His father is Rhaegar and his mother is Lyanna. After a traumatic incident in court, which resulted in the death of his mother which he believes is a murder, he runs away to the north. He end up captured by wildlings and he adopts their way of life. He brings their ideals south and tries to convince his cousin to let them come south. He becomes a socialist.

Aerion is the son of Cersei Lannister and Rhaegar. His loyalties are split. He is deeply in love with Margeary and wants to marry her, though he does care for his mother. He hates his brother Joffrey, but he loves his siblings Myrcella and Tommen. Jaime Lannister was a father stepped up to him and so he learned to become a great fighter, but as Jaime becomes a better person, Aerion goes on an identity crisis. Does he fight for himself or his family?



Derik is the son of Hela Greyjoy and Rhaegar. He has very little care for his Targaryen lineage, and he embraces his Greyjoy lineage. He looks up to his mother and wants to be like her, but he’s also a kind individual. He loves to read, and he wants to expand his mind as well explore. He does not push to be king because he does not care for politics. He is one of the greatest fighters of his generations and he has a bit of rivalry with Aerion. He also has a habit of kidnapping people, but he treats them really nicely. He likes to read with them and give them cookies. He’s also asexual. Eventually he let them go, but he tells them to spread the tales of the horror that is the plague of Derik.

Daevon is the son of Gaele Connington and Rhaegar. He does not care for the throne and his mother did unfortunately pass away, but the truth is that Cersei killed her. Jon Connington took care of him and he sees it. His adoptive father is incredibly conflicted as Jon himself does not know if he wants to push Daevon claim or Aegon because his true loyalty lies with Rhaegar. Daevon would honestly rather spend his time with his companions and favorites at court. 

Daeron is the son of Mina Tyrell and Rhaegar. He does not know if he wants to be king or not, but he is surrounded by incredibly ambitious individuals. He is betrothed to Margaery though he is deeply in love with his half brother Daevon. He fights because he’s told to fight but at the same time he wants to live a life free of ambition.

Rhaegal is the son of Alys Hardyng and Rhaegar. He is just as ambitious as his family and he has the dream of becoming king. He believes himself far more capable than any of his brothers, and he’s the one who kicks off the succession crisis and war. He has one person that he knows can get him to the position of king and that is Petyr Baelish. He promises the man the one thing that he wants the most, and if he grants him his wish of him becoming king, he will make sure he gets the woman of his dreams. He manipulates Robert Arryn to do his bidding, and he’s causing chaos in the north.

Aelorion is the son of Shiera Blackwood and Rhaegar. He has encountered Bloodraven and he has driven him a bit mad. He believes that Aegon should be the next king. As a kid he used to love Aegon and then Jon, but now as a man, he loves Shireen. As a man, he despises Jon because of Jon ideals and he dabbles in magic. He will do anything to keep what he believes is the rightful heir in power and be with a woman he loves.

Aethaen is the son of Rhaena Velaryon and Rhaegar. During the war, a lot of his family died, leading them to a succession crisis. He was able to be legitimized as a Velaryon. He is the current ruler of Driftmark. He is a kind man who does everything to prove himself as a great Lord. Many do not agree with him not only the Lord of Driftmark, but also the Master of ships but his actions and character leave them with very little to disapprove of. He’s betrothed to Daenerys and he is very kind to her. He loves her deeply. Daenerys and Rhaegar lives in Driftmark and they had a peaceful life there.

AU : Rhaegar in his Aegon the 4th era

In this universe Rhaegar lives and he is still in the chase to get a daughter named Visenya but he fails over and over and over and over again. When he impregnated Lyanna and had a son who named Jaehaerys (later the child adopted the name of Jon) he moves on to Cersei. It was a whirlwind affair that resulted in a son named Aerion. Disappointment filled Rhaegar as he had another son. In a walk he encountered Hela Greyjoy, they had an immediate connection. They immediately bedded each other and that resulted in a son named Derik. Rhaegar was in a rush to have a daughter, so he made the decision to impregnate multiple woman that included Alys Hardyng, Sheira Blackwood, Gaele Connington, Mina Tyrell, and Rhaena Velaryon. Each woman gave birth in a son and in order of the mothers the names are Rhaegal, Aelorion, Daevon, Daeron and Aethaen. The children are all made legitimate quickly after birth, but Rhaegar is hardly in their lives and their mother has no affection from Rhaegar and he does not give them standing in court. If they want standing in the mess that is the Kings Landing court, they must cultivate it.

The Rhaenys and Criston timeline:

Rhaenys met Criston in episode 2. Rhaenys was at her lowest with Corlys being a dick and the whole Laena and Viserys situation. Criston was at his highest with being recognized in being an official knight of the Kingsguard. While Rhaenys was sad and sitting on a bench, Criston showed up next to her and asked if she was okay. Rhaenys cried a little because it was the first time in a long time someone asked her if she was ok. Criston gave Rhaenys he carries for some fking reason and told her not to cry. After that they would share glimpses. They would look at each other sharing an understanding on a deep spiritual level. Both being warriors who feel slighted and are left to fight in a war for another to rule. A princess and knight, a lady of Driftmark and a Kingsguard, a black and a green, a dragon rider and a fighter. A reluctant embrace of a cause vs full acceptance of a cause. Rhaenys didn’t kill everyone in episode 9 not because it was not her war to cause, but because she truly could not let go of her one true love, she couldn’t end him. Now they are forced to fight in a war as starcross lovers who could never embrace their love for each other.
