tommy loves soft and warm things. for every single birthday ever tubbo has always gotten him a blanket. back in the l’manburg days all of the crew worked together to make him a giant quilt. (If you want angst, dream destroyed it during exile, or it was destroyed during doomsday). For his first birthday after coming back to life, tubbo made him a handmade blanket. It was a mess since tubbo isn’t good at knitting, but he learned how when Tommy had died, because he wanted to make a blanket to put over his grave. They’re both really happy that he gets to use it instead. (Tommy denies how much he uses it.) Ranboo made him a blanket once but it fell apart almost instantly. Ranboo apologized frantically, but Tommy thought it was hilarious. He showed up the next day with needles and thread, and forcibly taught ranboo how to sew.

When tubbo throws himself into his work, he usually forgets the time passing. When this happens, ranboo and Tommy always come over to make him take a break or do something else. At first their excuses for why they needed tubbo were reasonable (“Michael misses you” “we need you for something back in the main area of snowchester”) before becoming more and more absurd (“help tubbo, Tommy’s fallen down a hole and for some reason cannot get up. This is not suspicious” “tubbo, Dwayne the rock Johnson is outside of your house right now, come and meet him”). Tubbo grumbles every time but he appreciates the reminders and will always show up to see what they’re doing.

When ranboo gets stressed he needs to be able to protect his friends. Obviously he got better armor and weapons and totems, but sometimes he just needs to know they’re safe, so he just follows them around. He would prefer if they stayed in one, easily defensible place, but he’s okay as long as they’re beside him at all times. Tubbo is usually more than willing to sit in one place and do some paperwork, or draw up some plans, but Tommy is much more mobile. This means that sometimes he follows Tommy around, wherever he’s going. Tommy initially doesn’t like it, because he doesn’t like ranboo, but the ability to hide being a 6 foot tall Enderman in full netherite is something that grows on him. It gets very awkward very quickly, though, since Tommy spends a lot of time following around wilbur. (Wilbur has certainly not tried to assert dominance as Tommy’s friend over this child. That would be absurd.)

fav part of c!tommy's character??

his empathy. Like. His empathy is what makes him such a strong protagonist. He may say rude and violent things which is definitely something he needs to work on but he always considers everyone’s emotions even if it takes him some time (dream literally assigned him as the physical embodiment of emotional attachment so yknow). Some examples being Tommy’s reaction to Dream saying he gave up his attachments and asking “how do you not hurt?” Despite dream being his abuser. And trying so hard to help Wilbur despite how badly he treats him because he knows he’s a good person deep down like.... he seems to feel things so profoundly and it gets me every time. And now that he’s finally admitted he betrayed techno (although I have personal gripes with that whole thing, I understand what he means) his heart of gold is undeniable imo.

And also his appreciation for animals I find that fucking cute I want him to have a farm and raise cattle n shit GO OLD MCDONALD GO!!!

This is not Twitter. You don’t have to prioritize new tweets over littering your account with retweets. Also, Tumblr’s algorithm works differently from many social media sites’. While Tumblr added a “Recommended Posts” feature recently, most of the content others will see is from their dashboard, meaning almost the only way to boost/share posts here is to reblog them. Your likes don’t determine if that post will show up on your followers’ feeds. Besides the seldom-used Rec’d Posts feature & the search function, likes play no instrumental role in boosting a post. Only your reblogs can boost the art, writings, PSAs, etc., that you love.
