Good taste child

i’m at the bookstore and i just met a very serious eight-year-old boy in a tiny tweed suit and a light pink button-down shirt who asked me to help him find:

-crime and punishment

-eugene onegin

-a hero of our time

-the call of cthulu

-end of watch by stephen king

also met his very tired mother, who was wearing a purple fleece jacket. the little boy exasperatedly corrected her on her pronunciation of “onegin.” i promise you i am not making up one word of this.

Back in

So I decided to try watching TMP again since I can now accept Messina is gone and ended up binging season 5. Kind of loved it. Morgan on fire. Glad they gave Jeremy more storylines and screen time as he is like their Kevin/Howie D honestly (aging myself). I like where they got with Jody. Ensemble rocked and I really liked having a full episode of Mindy's family & childhood home. And I really like Ben for Mindy. Bryan is such a sweet actor turns out. And love his daughter.

Also I super loved the social commentary with the white man episode. Yay TMP!

Did anyone else see the article where Messina said he doesn’t know if he is returning for the final season? (As if). What do they mean, like back at all or back back? I can’t even remember where I read it (maybe in here). I wouldn't mind seeing Ben & Danny meet and like get along as coparents. And maybe some Sarah/Mindy coparent drama. Though I'm sure that won't happen as Leo has basically been written out the second he was born lol.

What’s with that look Mindy gives out the subway window at the end? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Cons, Leo is basically non existent and the obvious Danny literally only has voice overs, those liars (I'm looking at you WARBURTON) but it made it easier to move fwd with Ben. It was good that Ma likes Mindy over "the new one". I'm all over the place in this post, there is a lot to say after binging a whole season 😂

You left “The Mindy Project” as a series regular in Season 4. Are you going to return for the sixth and final season?

I don’t know yet. We haven’t talked about it yet. I love those guys, though, and I would love to come back. It’s an amazing group of people. I love Mindy [Kaling]. I love that character that she wrote for me. That whole experience was like a master class in comedy, watching all of those actors. The writers were super gifted. I would love to come back. I’m not sure what’s going to happen yet, but I hope so.
