okay, not to be that fan but also, I’m definitely going to be that fan considering just how much block b and zico as a whole mean to me:
1) the statement released by seven seasons never explicitly stated that zico has left block b, only that his exclusive contract ended and he would not be resigning
2) OT6 resigned their contracts but won’t be performing as OT6, instead focusing on solo and subunit activities due to their upcoming military enlistments. this makes sense considering, with that knowledge, we probably wouldn’t be seeing an OT7 comeback anytime soon, anyway.
3) “as for block b’s future activities, we are currently discussing it from many angles with all seven members.”  in multiple interviews zico has always stated that block b is seven, “zico is block b, block b is zico,” and even recently during his KOZ tour he performed HER and mentioned how strange it was without the other members. he’s been promoting taeil’s solo concert and pyos solo work, and he and ukwon constantly communicate on instagram. none of them are on bad terms.
4) my korean is really bad but I’m pretty sure in one of the articles first released today about this entire thing quite literally states something to the effect of, “zico’s contract ended but he will not be leaving block b”
those are my speculations…
and so, on that note, I will personally fight any one person giving zico shit or unnecessary hate over this and acting like it’s his fault; you’re a fake fan if you think it is.

d-crunch vs kcarats (PLEASE SPREAD)
Hi everyone, I know no one likes long text posts but I beg of you to read the entire thing and share this. I’ll try to keep this as blunt and to-the-point as possible, but I don’t want to miss anything. I’m making this post in the first place because, in all my years of being a kpop stan, this is the most asinine, cruel, and unjustified thing I have ever seen.
So in August, a hip-hop focused boy group called Diamond Crunch (aka D-Crunch) debuted. Sadly, this was not a smooth debut as almost immediately, carats (seventeen stans) began calling d-crunch out for various reasons, basically claiming they “plagiarized seventeen”. Some of their reasons are:
- their diamond logo/concept
- having subunits (which is untrue, I’ll discuss this further later)
- having group rings (again, I’ll discuss this further later)
- being self produced (producing and writing their own songs, making their own choreographies, etc)
Now, I wouldn’t be making this post if that was all. You see, this didn’t last simply during their debut. THESE ACCUSATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE CONSISTENTLY FOR THREE MONTHS SO FAR. These accusations are baseless, and I will gladly tell you why. (note: at this point mostly kcarats are still making these claims, but some intl carats are still bringing it up)
First of all, d-crunch do indeed have a diamond concept and logo, obviously, but it is not a copy of seventeen, nor do seventeen own diamond concepts. You can look up the two logos and clearly see that the only similarity is being diamond-shaped, which is the obvious choice in shape for a diamond concept. Secondly, many kcarats are saying d-crunch copied seventeen’s subunits. This is absolutely bullshit as 1) d-crunch do not have subunits. They have a vocal line, a dance line, and a rap line, just like every single kpop group that exists. 2) svt do not own subunits, they are not the first or last group to have subunits. Thirdly, the rings. I am aware that seventeen’s rings are very important to them and their fandom, that they are much more than rings to them. However, d-crunch’s rings were simply a gift from their manager for debuting. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no reason to believe that d-crunch ever considered using their rings as concepts for further albums or anything like seventeen has done, the rings were simply a gift. Also, although Seventeen’s rings are special to them, that does NOT mean that no group ever is allowed to have rings. Rings are a universal gift, and many groups have group rings, it doesn’t make Seventeen’s rings any less important to them, but you cannot sit here and tell me that if a group is given rings then that justifies sending them hate, sabotaging their comebacks, and harassing them. Lastly, many groups self produce their music, bts, b.a.p, shinee, just to name a few. Even Nu’est, who are under the same company as Seventeen, have self produced some of their music. It’s just a foolish thing to hate a group for, seventeen are not the first or last group to produce their own songs, it isn’t an anomaly, it isn’t something that only svt has done.
I mentioned before some of the things carats have done to d-crunch and they are all true. The d-crunch tag and search results on twitter are FLOODED with hateful tweets and plagiarism accusations made by carats. D-crunch recently had a comeback and on melon, their album has TONS of negative reviews made by svt stans, who also dislike/downvote positive reviews making the album have a 1.5/5 star rating on melon. And, although I have not seen receipts (you can find proof of everything else I’ve mentioned by simply looking it up yourselves, and many d-crunch stans have posted screenshots on twitter that I currently do not have, but I can definitely find them and show them to you) of this, there are rumors that kcarats are planning to do something to d-crunch at AAA, which strikes pure fear in my heart.
d-crunch have a very small fandom. We are dedicated and try our best to send positive messages to the boys, but we are simply outnumbered and I’m sure all of you know that one negative comment can ruin your day, even if you got 100 positive comments. Kcarats claim that all they want is a statement from All-S, (d-crunch’s company) but the thing is, they did make a statment. Not just All-S, but many d-crunch members have talked about it as well and these claims and hate are hurting them deeply, no one wants to be accused of plagiarizing someone. At this point, three whole months after their initial attack, things have gotten out of hand. Kcarats have not let up at all, with time things have only gotten worse. All of this is not only hurting the boys, but d-ana’s (d-crunch stans) as well. Many d-ana’s have talked about how all this is hurting their mental health and giving them intense feelings of helplessness. It’s unfair and at this point we just simply don’t know what to do to make carats stop. Another awful thing? The oldest members of d-crunch is only 20. The youngest are only 16. These boys are just kids with a big dream, who want to make music and are so so inspired by bts, and they’re being harassed and hated before they even got the chance to truly show us what they’re made of. It’s painful to think about and see.
D-crunch are a great group. They’re dedicated, talented, funny, and despite all of this they try their best to keep smile on their faces for their fans. And there is simply no way d-ana’s can fix this with our tiny numbers. What can you do? Check out their new mv, Stealer, leave a like and a positive comment. If you can use Melon, search up their new album, 1112, and leave positive reviews, like positive reviews and dislike the negative reviews. Send nice comments to the group’s instagram (@/d_crunch_official) and twitter (@/DIA_CRUNCH), maybe even check out their debut mv, Palace, as well. Just flood them with positivity, wash out all these hateful and harassing comments. And of course, if you happen to like their music and the members, stan them! You wont regret it. No matter what fandom you’re in, please support these boys and spread this message around. It would mean so much to the group and me and my fellow d-ana’s.
Again, sorry this was so long, but thank you for getting through it and for reading.

BTS And Charlie Puth To Perform Special Collaboration At 2018 MGA
BTS will be collaborating with American singer Charlie Puth at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards (MGA)! On October 29, the organizers of the 2018 MGA announced that BTS and Charlie Puth would be performing together at the upcoming awards show. A representative stated, “The group BTS and the American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth are preparing to stage a collaboration performance at the 2018 MGA.” BTS and Charlie Puth have previously shown a lot of love for each other on social media. In 2017, the American singer liked Jungkook’s cover of his hit “We Don’t Talk Anymore” on Twitter, and he later wrote, “I really like BTS’s music.” Shortly afterwards, BTS returned the love with their own tweet: “We really like Charlie Puth’s music.” Later that same year, Charlie Puth asked BTS to check their DMs (Direct Messages) on Twitter, making fans hopeful about a potential collaboration. BTS and Charlie Puth’s special performance will take place on November 6 at the 2018 MGA, which will be held at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon. Are you excited for BTS and Charlie Puth’s upcoming collaboration? Leave your thoughts below!
