Bela Lugosi- MARK OF THE VAMPIRE (1935)
This film is not that good. It's a good looking movie! But it's a remake of LONDON ATER MIDNIGHT (1927)-which is lost. And became legendary because of Lon Chaney's make-up. So if LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT was anything like it- it was beautiful, but stupid.
And I love both beautiful and stupid! And at the same time is Double Mint! Gum! The visuals for a film of Lon Chaney with his shark teeth-!
No one alive now has seen it. And if they are there old as dirt. And it's still- "Lon Chaney!"
And it's got Bela Lugosi! And Carroll Borland! Who steals the whole show just by being there!
