the   thrill   of   a   show ,          no   longer   exhilarating .     played   her   instrument  because   she   had   to               :            because   it   was   the   only   thing   left .         her   uninterest   bordering   on   arrogance .        it   was   her   voice   which  made   her   special         &           it   was   her   voice   that   was   silenced .        this   meant   friends   were   not   quickly   made ,         even   though   ana   had   to   admit   she   favored   some   of   the   club   members   more   than   others .         ⸺        as   the   voice   of   one   of   these   particular   phantoms   filled   her   ears ,       velvet   clad   frame   turned   towards   the   noise ,      champagne   flute   grasped   loosely   in   hand .        what   she   did   not   expect   was   the   lips   against   her   cheek .          ❝        i’m   always   lovely ,      that’s   no   need   to   get   handsy ,      stella .       ❞        despite   her   words ,      a   faint   blush   bloomed   on   her   cheeks .
