Belladonna Dreams: Part 3

The Downtown trip. With so many options on where to go, only one place really made sense: The Crypt o' Night Club. The club was already pretty busy when our two arrive.

Alice noticed that it was only her and Connor, when she was told that there were going to be others there with them. When she asks, he assures here that the others will be meeting them there a little later. He wanted to take some time and get to know her a little better. She reluctantly lets him take her to the bar to buy her a drink.

While waiting for their drinks, they talk a little longer. They don't really have a whole lot in common: Connor works in the private sector, and is actually thinking his party life might be starting to slow down. Alice never really had much of a party life, instead preferring to spend time outside or reading. Instead of parties, Connor has taken up playing video games. Despite their differences, Alice still thinks he's really very cute and sweet and keeps up the conversation, asking more questions about him than he does about her.

Alice can't wait for the drinks, and Connor's friends, to arrive.

After they have a few drinks, Alice starts to feel a little woozy. Connor picks up on this immediately, and leads her over to the other side of the club, where the photo booth is. It's secluded from the dance floor, he tells her, so they can have some more time to themselves. She tells him she doesn't really want to take any photos with him, and photo booths are awkward experiences anyway. Connor laughs and tells her they won't really be taking any photos, and to go ahead and head inside anyway.

She heads in, followed quickly by Connor. Despite having only met earlier in the day, the two of them have decided to have a quick little tryst in the photo booth. Maybe it's the drinks, but there was something rather thrilling about getting to do it in such a public place (and only the bartender seemed to notice.)

After having their moment and sharing a tender kiss, they head on to the dancefloor to pass time before Connor's friends arrive. They're dancing together when they arrive...

It's his roommate, Geoff, his best friend Ramir, and his current girlfriend, Samantha. Like a lightswitch, Connor turns his affections onto Samantha and away from Alice. He does introduce the two of them briefly, as Alice realizes that she just got played by this man. It isn't long before she notices the two of them slip off the dance floor...

... and into the same photobooth that her and Connor had just come out of. Embarrassed and sad, Alice leaves the club quickly. Geoff chats to her while she waits on her cab, but she's no longer interested in socializing at all. Besides, Geoff is totally not her type.

Upon arriving home, she makes herself a bowl of cereal to have as she didn't eat anything at the club. The intoxication wearing off, she starts to cry. She's thankful that Connor at least doesn't know where she lives, because she really never wants to see him again.

After a good cry and a shower, she climbs into bed for a few hours of sleep before the first day of her new job. And with that, we'll see you in the next update...

Belladonna Dreams: Part 2

Where we left off, our lady Alice was getting settled into her new apartment, finding herself her dream job, and overall enjoying her life. Seeing as she had the rest of the day to herself, she took a trip out to the local library to check out some books regarding mechanical and cleaning nuances: two skills she needs to build up in order to climb her job ladder.

She's also found that the people of the Cove are very friendly! She's made a few acquaintances already. Even though she's shy, she's doing her best to make new friends in this new town.

Among those she met today, none stood out more than Connor Weir. Truly, the definition of tall, dark and handsome. He approached Alice first and the two hit it off. He was was amused that her cat shared his name, told her it must've been destiny that they met like this. She was absolutely charmed by this stranger, and passed her number off to him. She stayed in the library chatting with him for awhile longer, but she needed to head back to her apartment to check on Connor. She was only at home a few hours before the phone rang...

It was Connor, inviting her to come hang out with him and some of his friends Downtown. He remembered her saying she was new in town, and figured this was a low pressure way for her to meet people. After all, she already knew him! Of course she agreed, and hurried to get ready, putting on her cutest dress and touching up her makeup before heading out to catch her cab.

Introducing Belladonna Dreams: a Sims 2 story. We're working with Belladonna Cove, a handful of CC, and this game I've started has already gone so crazy I feel like it needs to be preserved and shared. And with that, let's get into where we are:

Our leading lady, Alice Kierns (yes that name was out of a randomizer, we're here folks), and her best buddy Connor (a flame point Himalayan, based on a real cat from my own personal life), have moved into their new apartment in Belladonna Cove. Alice is a Knowledge sim with a lifetime want of becoming the Hand of Poseidon - and she's trying to be very realistic of what kind of apartment she can afford. Between the deposit and first week's rent, her savings took a significant hit. But she was still able to take a trip to Ikea and get some nice furniture and decor for her little place

Jumping on her (semi-used) computer and checking the classifieds, what how lucky she is to find that her dream career is hiring! The hours suck and the pay isn't great, but she's sure that if she works hard she can climb the ladder in almost no time. She doesn't start until the next day, and it's only right about 11 in the morning, so she travels to the public library. And with that, we'll see you in the next update...

Evan is CM-EM, piper's mesh. I only did the green hat because I don't really need more than that. Polycount is 8k.

Drag Queen is CU-EU, digi's mesh. Polycount is 8k.

Your Nature is CF-EF, brandinotbroke's lower poly mesh (original is entropy). Polycount is 14k.

4t2 Conversion Dump

All requests this time! JINO N40 was requested by @kim-taeyeon99 and the rest were requested by anons. The last two pictures are of the same hair, OBSims Sugar Honey Ice 'n' Tea, which unfortunately is 30k poly since any attempt to reduce it ended up with holes in the mesh. The entire thing turned to triangles. I'm not sure why.

A Random CC Dump, Yaayy!

A new table mesh inspired by a TS1 object. Also my average restaurant needed more average-restauranty tables. It is base game compatible. -> Swatches -> Download: Box or Dropbox

A simple bed that’s, well, two mattresses on top of one another. It too is base game compatible, but some of the recolour reference Pets and BV textures. Since it sits lower than a regular maxis bed, its shading gets weird when placed higher than ground level. Sorry about that :/ 07/03/15: I’ve fixed the issue the bed ‘frame’ had with displaying the right recolour upon reloading, and made sure the catalogue displayed the right numbers for energy and comfort gain. The flowercat ‘collar’, which you’ve probably already seen by now. It is not a default replacement, but only comes in one colour as trying to make more is still giving me trouble. Obviously, the cat’s limbs might clip through the flower during some animations, but otherwise it works well in game. -> Download: Box or Dropbox
