Instructor: Dr. Micaela Janan
Overview: In this course (and its sister course in the spring), we shall focus on acquiring a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the Latin language (grammar, vocabulary, and syntax). Our goal is to have you reading the Latin of Cicero, Caesar, Catullus, Vergil and many others, or what is better known as Classical Latin, by the end of the academic year (with the assistance of a dictionary and a good grammar).
