Minetest 5.4.0 makes it Easier to Download Mods and Games.

Minetest is a free and open source Voxel game engine, influenced initially by Minecraft it is gradually getting larger and better with plenty of available games for it. Minetest 5.4.0 is getting a new release. They have a first Release Candidate. This is a time when they require as many people as possible to test the software and ensure it runs properly.

They added an in-game interface to download mods and games back in Minetest 5.0, which was released in 2019. It worked, and they improved it with every release, but the biggest problem was the dependency system. A mod would require another, and so on. It was once difficult to locate them all, but it is now much simpler. The 5.4 release features a new UI flow to download mods and games, along with the resolution of dependency issues, an update to all capability, and download queues.

Simple and effective It works!

It makes it a lot more efficient, and also faster. It allows you to customize your Minetest experience exactly as you'd like it.
