Break up #3
Ladies, gentlemen, nonbinary and genderfluid people. I introduce to you, break up #3.
The oven. The oven always wanted to go at it hot and heavy. That, however, wasn’t my style, so I always cooled the oven down and after a few months, that took a toll on the relationship.
The oven approached me one day and told me that I couldn’t keep turning its heat down and that if I wanted to maintain the relationship, I’d have to let it go as hot as it wanted. The oven was always heating up 20°C hotter than what it said it was. I wasn’t okay with this and I made it quite clear that if the oven wanted a relationship, we’d have to keep compromising as before and that it couldn’t keep trying to fool me with its temperature. The oven was not having it.
I soon realised that we could no longer live together, so I left and moved to be with an oven that could respect my wish for the temperature of the relationship. An oven that could bake everything exactly how I wanted it to and was honest.

Break up #2
Ladies, gentlemen, nonbinary and genderfluid people. I introduce to you, break up #2.
The stand mixer. The stand mixer never could stand having mixed feelings about everything. One day I turned it on, ready to mix some cookie dough with it when unexpectedly it started whirring at speed 6 about how it had mixed feelings about our relationship. My eyes teared up as I tried to turn it off, but it just kept whirring about our relationship.
I finally managed to calm it down and turn it off. The cookie dough was all over the mixing bowl, so I cleaned it off and decided to finish my cookies off.
The next day. I bought a new stand mixer. It treats me so much better than the old one.

Break up #1
Ladies, gentlemen, nonbinary and genderfluid people. I introduce to you, break up #1.
The fridge. The fridge had been acting cold towards me, as always. I thought nothing was wrong, but I soon found out, that I was wrong. The fridge felt I was using it for my personal needs and it wasn’t benefitting from me being in its life.
It broke up with me the day I moved and left it for another. One that was colder, got a little frost on the back and stayed quiet through the night.
