Hi!!! Sorry to bug you but I noticed a gifset of someone named pagan, and I'd really like to know what they're from!!! Sorry to bother you aah, but they looked really cool and we have the same name so I was curious :U

Pagan min from far cry 4 check it out it is amazing and so beautiful. That gif set was from a cut scene but the whole game play is like that. Plus pagan is the best character.

Everyday i was forced not suggested or encouraged but forced to stand put my hand on my heart and recite the pledge of allegiance to the american flag and the country in both English and in Spanish. We did this though kindergarten into about the middle of my junior year in highschool when I changed schools. I went from a public school to a private charter school and it was in the charter school that i didn’t say the pledge. it was not played it was not announced. And i can tell you having done it every day for 11 or more years it was very confused. Granted i had stopped saying the pledge every morning beginning of high school but i was still required to stand and put my hand on my heart. I asked my home room teacher why we didn’t say the pledge, i kid you fucking not my teacher looked at me and said “because we are not nazis breeding children for war.” the teacher was a history teacher. I asked my science teacher and they told me “because standing and praying to a piece of cloth was not science and a waste of time.” over all each teacher had a different response as to why we dont say the pledge. My math teacher told me they had all taken a vote when starting the school that they would let us be patriotic if we wanted to but focus on education rather than pledge. it was nice. However i remember back in elementary school the first time my friend didn’t say the pledge, and stayed sitting. She was not only told to stand and say it because the teacher told her to but she was taken to the office given detention and iss, her mother was called and she was threatened with suspension from school. All because she didn’t feel comfortable saying the pledge. From that day she would stand but not put her hand on her chest or say the pledge. And slowly watched as the room became quieter everyday when the kids realized what was happening. And soon one day the whole class stood for the pledge and the teacher started but no one said a word and every one sat back down. The look of horror and loss of control was and still is the most priceless thing i will ever see on a teacher. And we were in 5th grade at most. Our whole class was in detention for a week. A WEEK because we didn’t say the pledge. So american schools are fucked up. So many things are fucked up about APS.

at what point do american children realise it’s weird for them to pledge allegiance to their flag and country every day at school and that not all countries do that and how long after that discovery do they realise how creepy it is

why is this something no one talks about because it concerns me on a very deep level
