☆ The city is consisted of 7 packs. Altitude was founded originally by two packs that came from the depths of Asia with alphas a pair of twin brothers, however as more foreign wolves gathered in the same area, the packs evolved till they became the idealistic representation of the leading powers that thrive inside the city. Taking a more modern approach, the seven packs are based on the ‘seven types of souls’, accepting people that identify with each type and follow similar paths in life (even though they are many exceptions). α) Leon Soul Type; King Leon is a group of people naturally commanding, assured, powerful, authoritative, decisive. They prefer to be in a commanding position from which they can oversee and run the entire operation.They have a commanding presence, an innate power and even a regal air about them. They are born leaders and others will tend to automatically look to them for leadership and direction. Their raison d’être is to assume command and take charge, not just being the ultimate decision-maker but also the one who takes ultimate responsibility. β) Mantis Soul Type; Priest Mantis is a pack of inspirational people who seek to serve a greater good. They have a sense for a higher purpose in life, a need to make the world a better place. They are uplifting, motivating, energising, visionary. They want to be inspiration for others. They other both inspired and inspiring. Different people will define the highest good in completely different ways. The thrust, however, is always the same: to catalyse change in others, to promote a better way of being. γ) Papillion Soul Type; Artisan The wolves of Papillion claim to be naturally creative, inventive, imaginative, playful and decorative.They have a natural talent for creative expression, bringing to life new and original ideas. They also like to realise (to ‘make real’) their ideas in interesting, tangible forms which they can present to others. δ) Lycan Soul Type; Warrior Lycan, named after the Greek name for wolf, are the pack of wolves that protect the city. They are forceful, loyal, determined and steadfast.They are action-oriented beings, and therefore down-to-earth, single-minded and very wilful. They tend to see life in terms of confrontations and rising to the challenge. There are causes to serve, struggles to be overcome, battles to be won. They like to be on the front line with their trusted comrades, and strongly value both courage and loyalty. ε) Cygnos Soul Type; Server Cygnos is identified by all those people who love to help and serve the common good. Naturally accommodating, caring, hospitable, charitable, nurturing. They seek to improve the lot of individuals in more hands-on, down-to-earth ways. They are naturally caring and helpful souls who live to be of benefit to others. This selfless capacity is something all souls aspire to, but the Cygnos pack is already there by default. ζ) Chamai Soul Type; Sage Chamai is a pack full of engaging, articulate, charming, entertaining and expressive people. The raison d’être of any of them is to promote a sense of shared experience — sharing life’s dramas, lessons and absurdities in an appealing way with as many as possible. A Chamai wolf will always look for insights to share and audiences to share them with. In effect, their role is to cheerfully point out who we all are and what we all have in common. And to help us enjoy our shared journey. η) Renard Soul Type; Scholar Renard(s), meaning the fox, is a group of wolves that are curious, studious, academic, analytical and neutral. They have a natural affinity for information, logic, and learning. They are born to study, think and learn, but not just in the academic sense — fundamentally they are students of life. Those wolves are life’s observers, reporters, analysts, and archivists. As such, they tend to be thinkers rather than doers. They feel at home being surrounded by information. Their living spaces tend to be more like libraries, their drawers full of old note-books.

Lycan (0/1), Papilion (0/1), Cygnos (0/1), Leon (1/1), Mantis (1/1), Chamai (0/1), Renard(0/1). ] Leader of the pack, and highest ranked among all positions. Any decision and word from him or her is law under pack rule. The alpha is part of the pack with direct involvement with the government, the private commercial sector, and the scientific-medical community - which makes him or her a direct to semi-direct handler of the institutions and business of the city. Beta [ 2 per pack. Lycan (1/2), Papillon (0/2), Cygnos (0/2), Leon (2/2), Mantis (1/2), Chamai (0/2), Renard (0/2). ] Second in command, and usually of the same lineage as the alpha. Depending on the decisions of the alpha and The Bane Order, as well as the pack dynamic, the beta can also be the one in charge of the business and institutions under the pack’s rule - usually in coordination with the   alpha. He or she also takes charge and handles the responsibility when the Alpha is not around. Historically, it is common for Betas to challenge the Alpha’s rule - under various reasons - to take the alpha spot for his or her own. Delta [ 2 per pack as of now, will increase eventually; Lycan (0/2), Papillon (1/2), Cygnos (0/2), Leon (0/2), Mantis (1/2), Chamai (0/2), Renard (0/2). ] Originally the messengers of the pack in the olden times, the Delta position has evolved through the years - aside from being the modern day messengers (as they are the representatives of the pack to be sent out to relay specific messages to other packs that are secret enough that technology can’t be trusted), they are also now the liaison officers of the pack, being the only other delegate link between packs other than the alphas themselves. Patience, quick-mindedness, and calm diplomatic perspective is of utmost key. Epsilon [ 2 per pack as of now, will increase eventually; Lycan (1/2), Papillon (0/2), Cygnos (0/2), Leon (0/2), Chamai (0/2), Mantis (0/2), Renard (0/2) ] Known to be the guardians of the pack, this position now caters to various aspects of pack-welfare apart from conflict management and prevention of external threats. Aside of making sure that those who are not meant to mess with the pack stays out of the pack, this person is also the acting internal officer - answering directly to the alpha regarding matters of the operations of the pack. Theta [ 2 per pack. Lycan (0/2), Papillon (0/2), Cygnos (2/2), Leon (0/2), Mantis (0/2), Chamai (0/2), Renard (0/2). ] Medic of the pack. The main person who handles all medical experiments and researches - the one who directly answers to the alpha regarding matters of health and physical wellness of the pack members. Kappa [ 2 per pack. Lycan (0/2), Papillon (0/2), Cygnos (0/2), Leon (0/2), Mantis (0/2), Chamai (0/2), Renard (0/2). ]

Hunter of the pack and the scholars. The position who holds the responsibility of policing the ranks of the youngsters and making sure that there are strong enough and educated to the world of wolves. He or she is the one who answers directly to the alpha when it comes to providing personnel-based assistance to humans and about the education of the pack. Eta [ 2 per pack as of now, will increase eventually. Lycan (0/2), Papillon (1/2), Cygnos (0/2), Leon (0/2), Mantis (0/2), Chamai (0/2), Renard (0/2). ] Warriors of the pack. They function as the pack’s private army and police - answering directly to the Zeta. The first of rank in the pack that can - at the decision of the alpha and an agreement by the Zeta - to be sent out by the pack to be fighters or guards to wealthy human families who would need their assistance. Pi [ 2 per pack as of now, will increase eventually; Lycan (0/2), Papillon (0/2), Cygnos (2/2), Leon (0/2), Mantis (0/2), Chama (0/2), Renard (0/2). ] Therapists within the pack - the ones responsible for keeping the pack mentally healthy. Often the other members will come to them to confide in, because it is the duty of the Pi to keep such confidences confidential and try and help those who come to them by giving them advice and advising them on what might be best for them. Although they are not always right, but should be able to help out and be a good listener. It is also advised that they themselves do not make judgements of others. Omega [ Unlimited ] Marked the lowest of ranks. Often they are picked on by the other wolves and are last to everything. Sometimes things may become so bad that they might even up and leave the pack, though there are those who remain to stick it out. Usually a bitten wolf will first be an omega rank and slowly rise to the ranks if they prove their worth.

(1/5). * Lone wolves are not part of any pack however they are aware of nature of the city they are residing it. They may even like to work closely with one of the packs without being a part. They are able to join a pack later on if they request it so. ———————————————————– ** We only allow 5 humans for now. Positions will raise as the number of roleplayers do. (0/5) * Humans are unaware of the existence of werewolves, or they simply don’t believe the known myths and legends. Very few humans are allowed to move into the city, after they are thoroughly investigated. If a human finds out about werewolves and that fact gets known to the packs, they would have to be turned into a werewolf by the bite of an alpha in a full moon. Unless it is kept a secret.

Rules of the Roleplay.

✰ This is a closed roleplay so you should only add people that are part of the roleplay. In case you are using an already existing account, please clean your friendlist before joining. ✰ The OOC age limit for joining is 18. Your face claim’s actual age must be 18 and above and your muse’s/character’s age must be 18 and above. ✰ This is a literate roleplay. We do not accept one liners and the use of emoji, unless the nature of the post is for social media. We have the right to turn down applications if they don’t fit our basic writing criteria. ✰ OOC talks are mostly limited to the OOC group, with brackets being used when talking outside of it. ✰ Please don’t mix up IC with your OOC  life. Also, metagamin and godmoding are not allowed. Respect each roleplayer and their muse. ✰ Please be active at least three (3) times per week. We don’t count the change of display picture, OOC posts or pm activity. ✰ When leaving or going on hiatus inform the mod account with message. The story begins.

Be careful of those who howl at the moonlight. And whatever  people tell you about them.. Believe it. Werewolves, Lycantrhopes, Wolf-kind, the beast that prowls through the midnight. There are many terms for the shape-shifting combination of beast and man, and they are everywhere– even in the Land of the Morning Calm. Children of the Wolf have been around the Earth since the ancient times, but they have only been first mentioned a little more than six centuries ago -first in the late 1400s in an attempt to explain various social phenomena, however only the last several decades has the rumours and fantasies become a trend and attention for various forms of arts. But they had always been there, evolving with both time and societal change to become both a driving force and a pivot in various national and economical events. Yet throughout all the centuries, even though werewolf stories had mainly only be received as just that - stories - there were always people and families that strongly believed in the supernatural and hunted werewolves down. To avoid that, the children of the wolf learn how to live in cities, how to act humane and avoid conflicts with the humans. At least, most of them. But the desire to be free once in a blue moon was strong and it brought werewolves from all the places together, forming packs and families. That’s how the city of Altitude came to existence. Located near the sea, yet surrounded by mountains from every other direction, the spot had been the perfect area for the old packs to live in secrecy. However, as more wolves flocked in and time passed by, Altitude became a city – a city that had nothing to be jealous of any other huge cities in the world. Accepting both werewolves and sometimes rarely humans, Altitude is a city that thrives in tourism, economics and arts. To the rest of the world, it’s a completely normal city that evolved as a centre through the years. To the wolves that live inside of it, it’s a sanctuary where everything is run by them. To the few, unfortunate humans that are every permitted to move into the city, it’s a mystery to be solved.

THEME BASICS ☾ Altitude appears to be a city like every other. It has schools, hospitals, companies, jobs like every other. ☾ The city is by the river, surrounded exclusively by mountains from all other directions. The sea always appears to be higher than ground level. It was named Altitude as a joke. ☾ Very few humans are allowed to move into the city. The humans that are allowed have no knowledge of werewolves or that this is a werewolf city. If a humans has ties to werewolf hunters they may be aware of the myths but they can’t be werewolf hunters themselves (they wouldn’t be allowed to live in the city). 1st password is your favourite actor. ☾ The city’s top political & power positions are run by wolves. Not available to be roleplayed positions. ☾ There are 7 packs in the city, each reside in their own territory and not all of them get along well with each other. (More in the ranks post. ) ☾ Wolves can be bitten or born. ☾All Wolves have one superpower. (Ex. Future prediction, Levitation.) According to the myths (which are the wolves reality), werewolves were created because a witch placed a curse upon a family of several siblings, cursing them to live longer but also have to often fight their killing urges. Those were the first alphas. The powers of those alphas were passed down to their born werewolves or the ones that they bit and ever since they evolved from werewolf to werewolf, changing shape, form and nature. But the power’s awakening lies within the ties of the pack, thus why a werewolf who leaves the pack loses all their powers, unless they become a part of a pack once again. The same goes for how strong are the powers from rank to rank – the higher the rank, the higher the connection to the pack, the stronger the power. Alphas can have two abilities as they are usually born wolves that come from old lineage of werewolves, whereas Omega wolves don’t have any abilities until they change rank. A wolf’s ability can be first made known through any time of their life. ☾ Wolves can go up ranks only one per time. An omega can’t suddenly become a beta. They will have to go through that promotion slowly in time, if they wish so and with the approval of their Alpha. Whenever a wolf goes up in rank, the pack has to do a spiritual ritual to amplify the connection of the wolf with the rank and the magic. ☾All wolves has supernatural strength, agility, speed, hearing, fast healing and they can’t be easily killer. ☾Wolves can shift to actual wolves only during the full moon. However, certain features can be changed always. (ex. eye color, fangs) ☾ The ‘heat’ may plague a wolf any time and a wolf must experience it at least once. It can usually last from 5 to ten days. Heat is caused by the animal genes that always reside inside a werewolf, making it unable for them to refuse the survival need to mate.
