Raul has been learning to love life again in the islands. He adopted a dog, Spatula, whom he thought about renaming... but it was just so funny and Spatula was already used to his name, so it stuck.

Raul still fishes regularly. Thanks to his promotion to Stem Researcher, he is even able to afford a jet ski and go snorkeling at the reef!

He has been spending time with his new neighbor, Harmony, and taken a liking to her. They get along really well. Harmony has a deep appreciation for his job in conservation, and Raul is mesmerized by her vast knowledge of the ocean...

There’s a spunky new resident in Sulani! She moved into the Sapphire Shores lot in Lani St. Taz, right next to Raul Dempsey...

Harmony Troutman

Harmony is an outgoing woman who loves to swim and play violin. She frequently hosts cookouts at her house. Dolphins are unusually attracted to her little section of the beach.

...And then it was Samara’s time.

Raul honored his parents’ memory by taking care of the house on 5 Cobblebottom Street. He had always shared their passion for nature. He was absorbed by grief; he quit his job as a fisherman and lived off of inheritance and the vegetable garden for a while. But his life had come to a halt. As much as he loved his childhood home, he needed to move on - emotionally and physically. He sold the property and moved to Sulani. Nalani often spoke of its beauty and the ocean which was teeming with life: perfect for a young bachelor who needed a fresh start. He bought the aptly named Pier Perfection house located in Lani St. Taz.

Now we’re all caught up on the Dempsey-Kang storyline! Going forward you may see changes and hopefully better quality screenshots since I’ve added some custom content.

Cecilia and Samara both retired from their jobs - Cecilia had worked part-time as a cashier for a while, and Samara had greatly impacted the local conversation efforts throughout her career. They spent their days at home or going on dates, tending the garden, and caring for the animals while Raul was out fishing. ANd then:

The time had come.

Cecilia Dempsey-Kang passed peacefully in her sleep. Startled awake by Samara’s cries from the next room, Raul rushed in.

Though crushed by the loss of her wife, Samara became a source of strength for her beloved son. Cecilia was old; Samara was old; no one escapes death, and she was making her peace with it.

Besides, for now - they still had each other.

Raul’s friendship with Nalani Mahi’ai strengthened with all the time they spent hanging out. He gave her keys to the house so she could come and go as she pleased. Samara and Cecilia loved to see their son socializing more as he had always been a bit of a loner.

Sometimes Raul tried to flirt, but he was always shot down. It might be time to move on, buddy.

The years passed and the family lived happily. In her old age, Ceccilia still enjoys cross-stitching.

Raul starts his day off work by gaming in his pajamas.

One of Cecilia’s side passions is fitness!

The happy couple takes turns making breakfast for each other every morning.

Hi! I’m a long time Sims player but first time poster on Simblr. Idk how much I’ll post here but I felt like sharing the family I’m currently playing through. I’ve never actually played through multiple generations of a family before. I’ve gotten pretty far with this one and they’re adorable. First up:

Samara Dempsey

Samara is a young adult who wants to embrace a simple lifestyle in the country.

Aspiration: Freelance botanist, collector Traits: Loves outdoors, cheerful, bookworm

In my game, she is a Convervationist and recently reached level 10 of the career. She is married to Cecilia Kang (a default Sim who is very cute).

Raul Dempsey

Sadly I didn’t save Raul to the gallery or library. He is Samara & Cecilia’s adopted son. They got him as a toddler. He is currently a young adult.

Aspiration: Angling Ace Traits: Goofball, loves outdoors, lactose intolerant

Raul is a Fisherman (Deep Sea Fishing Master).
