Alvis fact! Becoming

Alvis was a "normal" gray and red darkling (like Eclipse) but! When eggman injected the serum what changed him from the darkling to a fox also changed his colours!

Why vertions who are foxes from the start are orange foxes like my prime vertions of Alvis

Also when he went from darkling to fox (same for other animal types like Hedgehogs ect (other vertions of Al)

His DNA was changed and this caused his body to fall apart into clumps. He fall appart but its because the regeneration powers he now gotten went "oh well this isn't a fox! WTF is this body!? Well ima chef this boio a new body. First. Destroy it" and 2 days later he went from a Gray and Red Darkling, to a Gray'Purple and dark Purple Darkling to a soup thing (because his DNA fell apart) and then into the fox we know!

Oh and his eyes for a short time was still black like a Darklings until he was let out the vat he was grown in they shortly cleared up
