Campaign Week✨✨✨✨

so it’s finally campaign week at my school which means everyone who’s running is giving out food, I got a raspberry lollipop, a funfetti cake pop shaped like a rose, chocolate mushrooms, and a goddam Shirley Temple, a guy at my school who’s running for student council is walking around with a cooler giving out Shirley Temples, and they’re good, like actually really good with the cherries and everything, I’m voting for him

Ok it’s now Monday and I have another update omg my school is going crazy, so we’re waiting on three fights, one between two girls in my grade and one between two freshman girls, and another one between one of those freshman girls and another freshman girl, the one from my class was supposed to happen today but the staff were watching everyone, and telling everyone to get to class they’re trying to avoid more, and the freshmen haven’t fought yet cause of the staff and one of the girls wasn’t at school, but were waiting

there were 4 fights at my school today, none of them related, none of them were friends, they weren’t even all in the same grade, but there were 4 all on the same day, three guys in my grade fought in between 2nd and 3rd period, two freshman girls fought during their lunch, it was advisory for my class, and after school two different freshman girls fought, though they got stopped almost immediately, and two different guys in my grade fought, and there might be another fight next week, cause some freshman girl got mad at another freshman girl and wants to fight her, my friends and I have dubbed today Fade Friday, cause everyone decided to run the fade today for some reason

you might not have heard of the UK Supreme Court decision stating that trans women are not women under the Equality act, which effectively sets the UK 50 years back in terms of queer progression. They stated that a woman is based on their biological sex, which rules out transgenderism in general.

This is a dire effect not just on trans women, but British women and queers. If you are a British citizen, please sign this petition to appeal this ruling and fight for equality, and if not, please share with others. Thank you.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.
