A beautiful prompt by @always-untilstarsburnout : Daemyra 10 years apart. Daemon fighting against his feelings towards Rhae, he’s trying to be a good husband to Leana, getting depressed and anger with every Laenor’s message. On other hand Rhae’s relationship with Harwin, her feelings, she’s missing Daemon….
(I just hope I do justice to it.)

“A raven just arrived from Driftmark!” Laena called out.
Daemon stiffened. He didn’t want to. He knew what would be in that letter, all the answers he wanted and all the questions he avoided. Instead, he looked at his wife who seemed overjoyed. His lips twisted in a small smile. Laena’s happiness was infectious, and if it wasn’t for her and her love, he wasn’t sure what he would have done.
“So, what does it say?” He tried to sound uninterested. But failed when Laena gave him a pointed look.
“You don’t have to do that, Daemon.” She said softly as she sat beside him.
He didn’t look at her. Guilt roiled inside him. It had been over eight years then why was it so that one place- that one person had such a hold over him? He adored Laena and would do everything to make her happy then what was this feeling? This feeling that made him feel hollow every time word came from Driftmark or King’s Landing.
“Do what?” He drank his wine, avoiding his wife’s gaze.
“Hide.” She simply answered.
She sighed after he didn’t reply. He knew he was hurting her; he didn’t want to. He never wanted to. If he could cut this unnamed emotion out of him, he would just so he could make Laena happy.
“Laenor and Rhaenyra had another son.” She said sounding genuinely happy.
He tried to summon that emotion. He wanted to. They deserved happiness and he could not give it to her then why, why did it feel like with every raven someone was moving a dagger a little closer to his heart.

Harwin always looked at her like she was the only good thing left in the world. Like she was the only one who existed. She sighed softly as he moved his lips to her neck.
She lifted his face back to her wanting to kiss him once more. But he leaned back, a smile on his. She knew what that smile meant and a shiver ran up her spine. Then suddenly he did something he had never done before, traced her lower lip with his thumb.
A memory so vivid of that night, the night she forgot who she was; the night he forgot who he was, flashed in her mind that she stumbled back. For a second she thought she saw a wry smile and white hair appear in the mirror behind Harwin.
She stood in shock. Her body shivered not in anticipation but from the loss- the loss she never let herself feel.
“Princess, are you well?” Harwin’s hand cupped her face and she closed her eyes, trying to forget.
She tried to forget the one face that still followed her, that she could see as clear as day. A name that escaped from her lips when she was alone. She needed to forget Daemon. It had been nine years since their last interaction. She wanted to forget what her heart refused to.
She took in a deep breath and took in the man standing in front of her, concern etched on his face. She raised on tip-toes and kissed Harwin.
“I’m always well when I am with you.”

“The first swap was a repeated move where we did the shot with Anya and Matt, and then just did it again with Thomasin. Even when we were doing it, I didn’t know we were going to be able to pull it off. And the reason it’s so good is because Matt Smith and Anya and Thomasin’s continuity is just so dead-on. And I was like, ‘Why don’t we just shoot all of them?’ ‘How long can we keep this going?’ Because it’s intoxicating to watch. That’s supposed to be the idea of the scene. The first dream sequence is alluring and glamorous and intoxicating, seductive. So that was how it came about. Other than that shot, you’re watching one unbroken take. Watching that is like an amazing dance in itself, because really, a shot like that is a collaboration between the three performers — and then also the fourth performer in the scene, Chris Bain, the Steadicam operator. The shot stands and falls on him being in the right place at all times. The idea was, the longer we can keep these shots going, the more immersive it will be. You feel like you’re living vicariously through her. It’s about not breaking the spell. It’s like we’re showing you a reality of something, even if what we’re showing you is very fantastical.“ - Edgar Wright
