he’s not “boring.” he’s not “just a sidekick.” and he sure as hell isn’t some background decoration for other characters to shine. he stood by steve rogers not because he was naive, but because he believed in people. he fought for a country that never fought for him back. he redefined captain america with compassion, empathy, and accountability. and if you can’t see the strength in that? that’s a you problem.
sam wilson deserves better from the writers. from the fandom. from the discourse. from all of us.
