Made a house in the Sims awhile back, and realized it was pretty close to Cassie’s home in Asgard (with a few tweaks, of course). This home was designed for a family of 4, so it’s not quite right, but it’s a solid foundation for Cass’ home.

The two bedrooms on this floor aren’t quite so fully kitted out in Cass’ house, but they do exist - remember, this was her family home before her parents died, and they bought it with the intention of raising a full family in it. They needed space. Those two rooms now function as spare bedrooms, for the (very) rare occasion that Cass might have guests.

(There’s a wooden spiral staircase in the main room, indicated by the red x. It made the picture too cluttered at this angle, so I took it out.)

There’s also a second floor to the house, which is where Cass’ bedroom and office are. The version I’ve made on the Sims is wildly inaccurate though, so I didn’t bother sharing it here.

The walk home was quiet, but Cassie kept an ear attuned to their surroundings, as she was sure Alvin did as well. There was nothing obviously worrisome, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was out there.

She felt marginally better once they were safely behind closed doors, but it was unlikely she’d fully relax for awhile yet. Something was wrong in Asgard tonight.

Leaving her keys by the door, she moved toward the kitchen, stopping after a few steps to look back at Alvin.

“You want a drink? Coffee, or something?”

She caught that grin, and may have blushed lightly as the full implication of her words hit her. Giving him a light playful shove was all she had time for as they neared the path that would lead to her front door.

“The offer is always there.” 

She sobered at his words, glancing about briefly.

“I don’t much like it myself, honestly, and I don’t like you going back out in it. Leaving can wait until morning.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Alvin agreed. He followed her, not too close, and hands carefully loose. He hadn’t been able to shake the feeling of eyes on him for some time – or perhaps it was eyes on both of them.

If someone was following, they were good at it. He had yet to pin them down. He let Cassie open the door, and surveyed the street one more time before he let it close behind them.

I’m open to whatever. We still need to figure out exactly what’s happening with the Lab, or what happens with Tyler post-coming after Cassie, and we need to look at Alvin’s connection to the whole situation.
