HEAT. 

We all know this is happening, earth heating up, extreme heat from the sun, UV radiation becomes extremely unhealthy and our eyes cannot take so much sunlight anymore.

Pants is made from a car cover which is used to protect the paint on the car against UV radiation, in this care it protects the wearer. A slit in the side created airflow when walking. The body is made from exploded airbags filled with gel packs which can be refreeze overnight. In 3D I created protection for the arms and hat. The hat is based on Australian railroad workers who have to cover there who body, by law, against the sun light because of the high number of skin cancer cases.

COLD.

A new ice age, which could be caused by the flow of the oceans, where the warmed-up water flows towards the artic and the cold water flows back, this causes an extreme state of winter.

Made from anti-freeze window covers from cars, with filling and lining from a white tarp. The balaclava is to prevent frostbite to the face. The silver is based on emergency blankets which were developed by NASA in the 60’s, you see those things all the time when something really bad has happened in the world.

AIR. 

When the air is so polluted, we cannot breath it anymore like we are used to. Diseases, irritation to the eyes, nose and through, damage to our organs and nervous system.

Made from white tarp found in a construction site. Basic, but protective against ugliness from outside. The jacket is made out of transparent table cloth. The mask obviously is to prevent polluted air coming into the lungs of the wearer. The whole outfit is based on the disaster in Fukushima in 2011, where still today thousands of workers need to clean up the mess.

Tried playing around with the emergancy tarp and the hood opening. Used CLO 5.0 with the nice photoshoot option to create coloured lighting in a studio-like situation.

Used CLO 4.2 (something) for regular renderings. Used CLO 5.0 for photoshoot rendings which later would be photoshopped into real backgrounds of existing shoots. Tried to make the avatar look as real as possible.

Due the fact that the school computers cannot save animated videos created in CLO I had the download the program to my personal pc.. Not very succesfull. 

Vizoo scanning program XTEX, wouldn’t even open so after a couple of hours I gave up on the vizoo (sorry).
